4 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are: 1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up 2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background 3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." Towards the end 4. Carter picking a verbal fight with the elderly Chinese cook
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue.
jackie's first western movie was actually 'the big brawl' (1980). it was a joint venture between hong kong and hollywood studios and even though it made money, it was considered a box office disappointment by jackie's standards. at that time, he wasn't well known outside of asia. today, i think that movie would've done much better - it was entertaining to watch

I would recommend two of my favorite films, Sorcerer (1977) and Runaway Train (1985). Both underrated, little known gems. Runaway Train is a thriller, based on the Akira Kurosawa screenplay. It stars Jon Voight, Eric Roberts, Rebecca De Mornay, and was the first film of both Danny Trejo and Tommy "Tiny" Lister. Sorcerer is a slow burn action thriller directed by William Friedkin. It takes a little bit to get going, but worth your patience. It was released around the same time as Star Wars, and completely disappeared as a result. Also, knowing that the effects are obviously real and not CGI, it is hard to fathom how they could have possibly filmed the (in)famous 'bridge scene' without killing anyone. I hold my breath every time.

Everyone always forgets about that, also made a cop buddy action movie in America called the protector with Danny aileo around 84.
