great series, personally on the tiny crack where the hanger meets the exhaust i would buy some milliput and put it around it, i did this on my old car (its my daughters now) where i had a similar weld failure and its still going strong to this day.
Im currently 7 days into the second clean as first time around failed. thanks for the idea though but Im not hopeful on the outcome and may well end up scrapping the car, but we will see.
@@bosseyedbeardedbloke there is another video on here of a guy doing this on a merc sprinter camper van if i remember correct the only difference with him was he made it water tight filled it up with wyrms and left it 12hrs if i remember correct then used a karcha pressure washer to blast it out and oh boy did it come out, luckily i have never had to do this as in my tucson once a fortnight or so i will drive it around and keep it in 3rd as the highest gear to blast all the crap out or go for a long run on the motorway and do 70mph whilst in 4th for 10 mins.
@@MonkeyBabba I know the video, he ended up in hospital as he poisoned himself from the stuff. You have to be really careful of pressure washers as some DPFs will be wrecked by one. I ve washed mine out with a Hydroshot which is only 20v and I still managed to slightly damage it.
Good effort.
Hopefully it all worked out after install
