Casting lures for 9 hours on Lake Macquarie - was it worth it ?

- Fishing Lake Macquarie in a southerly wind is tough, lots of casts needed but how did i end up going ?? Jump on board as i throw lures in different areas of the lake hoping for some good fish. If you like the content don't forget to Like and Subscribe....enjoy legends.
You are putting out some very professional looking videos now Andrew. Loved the opening segment. The drone footage is also very well done. Keep up the good work. I picked up my PB flathead the other day in the Lake on a Fishtrap. . She was 80cm and very very fat with a head like a shovel. I`m still smiling.

@@ethanwalton6537 spot change made all the difference, either that or we lucked onto a small bite window. Definitely a hard slog out there mate but happy to get them in the end. Hopefully have some nice weather this weekend and get back out there 🙌

Hey Andrew, a few good flatties later in the day👍I don't think my shoulders and elbows could handle 9 hours of casting and retrieving any more.... I must be getting old🤣
@@petersimpson4916 yer they come on late thankfully 🤣 i definitely feel it some days pete but ive bn doing it since i was 6 so my bodys use to it now 😂 ive done 10 hour day sessions then gone out an cast all night before aswell. A few iced coffees keeps me going.

Cracka video again mate. You wouldnt have happened to be heading up hawkesbury on saturday around 6am coulda swore i saw you cruising past mooney mooney as i was launching my boat. Well done anyway 🤙
@@KhyeNelson-hanss i was there mate doing some scouting in a new area. Head way up one of the arms to mark some spots, hopefully pays off next time i get up there anyway. An yer happy to get some fish in the southerly, tough bite on the lake when it blows south mate. Hopefully u got a few fish Saturday 👍

@@muncheesuppar i have to make some more space an leave some tackle boxes at home. Then it will have a permanent spot on the boat.
@@Lowysfishing yeah i always take so much stuff with me that hasn't been used in years just in case , i do landbased these days and people watch me with 8 rods , 3 backpacks , and esky , gaff and net shuffling along stockton breakwall . being stuffed by the time i get near then end i need to sit down for 20 minutes. and i keep buying more stuff .

Everyone talks up Lake Mac alot, they all have good days but terrible with consistency, personally theres way better, beautiful waterway to look at
@@Assplunger the lake like everywhere can be hit an miss. Southerly winds there arent great for fishing. I fish most places already that are within an hour or so of where i live except the bay cause i hate the marine park zones. I like to relax when im fishing not have to check maps all day 🤣 but yer theres plenty of other great places around your right 👍
