Mate ive had that lure for maybe 5-6 years or more i cant even remember where i got it. Best bet would be online but id say they would be hard to get unfortunately.

Thanks mate i like getting out there making them. I have a shimano sedona 1000 and for the price its pretty good. I recently got a shimano vanford 2500 it cost a fair bit more but its really nice aswell 👍

Its never a good moon phase for fishing but if thats the only chance we can go then thats wen it is. I did see u out there sitting deeper we wernt far away from u there at 1 point. He got a feed at least so he was happy and i fixed his sounder up aswell and showed him a few things. Was a nice day on the water at least weather wise pete 👍

Haha yer he got a few cockles an some shells that day. It was a slow long day we did actually catch a few more fish but we had given up an turned the cameras off. Maybe that started the good bite. Either way it was nice to get out there have a few laughs and catch some fish.

Thanks alot Reg, this time i was lucky to have leigh there. Otherwise i wouldve bn bank fishing cause my boats off getting serviced an they had to order a part for it. If its ready by the weekend id say il head to pittwater again maybe.

That combo was a jackall bpm 7,3 rod 4-10 lb braid an 15lb leader. Reel is a twin power 3000. Good vibe rod feels everything an casts a mile. Had the reel for about 10 years now those things dont go wrong if u look after them 👍

Nice an close mate 5 mins. Takes me over an hour to get there but i do like fishing new places an exploring new ground. No boat this weekend sadly its in getting a service so if anything il just b bank fishing 😩 would b decent up in the rivers in your kayak.

I went way up past bar point whatever that sections called mate. Ive never bn up there so was all new to me.

Such a big system Wayne , i need about 30 years just to fish it all 🤣 il b back there again soon hopefully to keep exploring. At some point il run into some nice weather and some good fishing.

Yer its hard when its real windy and u can only fish certain spots, just have to make the best of it i guess. As u know filming in 40kph winds doesnt sound very good on video 🤣

Yer i always chase the school size fish these days, done alot of long nights when i was younger chasing big fish and it was definitely fun. Now i cant be as bothered to spend as much time just focusing on real big ones and for the videos catching the schoolies is within everyones reach so it has a broader appeal. Rather than just watching me cast big lures all day for no bites 🤣 if i can get a few fish early in the days i might then have a crack at some bigger fish again. It was very addictive chasing the big jewys here(newcastle) I definitely dont know the hawkesbury well enough yet.

The hand holding the tiller was numb pete by the time i got there an its not even that cold yet. Fun times ahead. Was good to get up there an have a look around even if those spots didnt produce this time. Marked up some decent ground il fish again in a few weeks.

Im so keen to go back there but everytime im off its just windy or pissing down rain. An its a big drive for me to get there. Next few weeks hopefully i get a good weather window.

They head down to the brackish and salt to spawn during the colder winter months but the rain wouldv pushed them out a bit already. Some big eps in the Hawkesbury mate. Yer whatever the weather its game time 🤣 cant catch any sitting at home 👍

@@Lowysfishing my mate has a 3.5 metre tinny and he goes there but you just cant go off shore you can still chill at the entrence on a good day but a bit farther in is great for kings

Cheers mate 👍 i find not letting them sink on really slack line helps reduce that foul up. So when i cast out an it hits the water i shut the bail arm so it sinks under tension. I like fast tapered graphite rods best for vibes. Im using a jackall bpm 7,3 rod atm and its great. Most graphite rods around 7 ft 4-10lb with a fast action will be nice vibing rods. I guess the difference in the more expensive rods is a bit better sensitivity and further casting. Hopefully this helps mate 👍

Thanks John, im using a lowrance elite ti2 does the job for me. Its 3 years old now but never missed a beat. Sidescan can save u so much time when looking for spots an baitfish. Definitely worth getting it id say 👍

Iv bn there since an no dramas. An fish move around they dont just sit in one place, the lake is very seasonal and alot depends on water temps, baitfish tides and moon phase. An im not into trying to hide where i fish its not that secretive. Im not fishing anywhere ppl dont already know or havnt fished either. I just get out there enjoy my day make a video and if it gets watched great if not all good aswell. Either way thanks for watching hopefully your catching some out there 👍

The head mount is an 11 an the fixed mount is a 12. I didnt use looping this episode but have done in all the others.

@@Lowysfishing i have only managed 2 legal bream in 3 trips land based in newcastle harbour the last few weeks and i'm sick of eating bream .

@@muncheesuppar yer i prefer flattys over bream if i have the option. But kingys have to be my favourite in the lake to eat.

@@Lowysfishing caught some really big sweep off nobby's wall in january and they were one of the tastiest fish i have had , never thrown 1 back since .
