The history of Arasaka up to the end of world war two is essentially the history of Mitsubishi, and it's noticable that the Arasaka (three circular leaves on a stem) logo is remarkably similar to the Mitsubishi (three - 'mitsu' - rhomboid leaves of the Water Caltrop - 'bishi' plant) logo.

I'll be playing as a Corpo, while getting inside and gaining critical information to take down Arasaka. Through deception, sabotage and confusion, they won't know what is going on.

When I look at Cyberpunk 2077 lore and then our world I can see how it very well could be what the world will become in the coming decades. The sad part? We all may still be alive when that time comes. The world turning into utter madness as social order collapses and corporations replace governments.
Fairly certain Saburo Arasaka's is gonna be an endgame encounter ala Andrew Ryan or The Master from Fallout 1 where you'll need to have quite the elaborate skill check to defeat him.
Arasaka: the company so evil that detonating a nuke in the middle of a major city just to level their regional headquarters was arguably the right call.
Yeah it was a table top game in the 80s, so was a game called shadowrun theres even games on sega genesis and SNES , personally I like shadowrun more because of ancient magic being introduced into a world like this.

3:40 - Saburo Arasaka had a son at 61 years old (yikes), and this son might be alive as a 97-year-old in the game? I myself would be 90 (roughly my last grandparent's age right now), in 2077. Maybe cyborg tech could keep me sharp, virile and robust too. Reminds me of Avatar The Last Airbender where the first Firelord of the 100 year war had a son at like 80, Firelord Azulan, who succeeded his father when he was well into adulthood.
Finished Nomad campagne in 85 hours, pretty much any quest done. 2 more roles to do, excited to see whats more left in the story for me. the game has many bugs, but its still fun to play and i do not regret at all preordered 2 years ago for a DRM free game of this proportion!
who's gonna tell him? Alright, I will. There is no "Nomad campaign", because after the first little bit of the story the paths converge and there really isn't any difference.
@@Nobes bruh I think you're taking that comment a little too seriously. There's different intros and dialogue choices for each path so you can play a bit differently each time even if the main story is the same. It's called role playing.
I actually was disappointed with the Corp Life Path, you dont even spend 25 minutes in the „corpo world“, which makes it extremly difficult to feel like u were a corp before

Science fiction writers have been doing this for a long, long time. Elements of the present are necessarily used because humans and their nature don't fundamentally change.

You'll get more details from the books, this is just a tl,dr. Some of the stuff explained on the video comes from playable campaigns I believe, so you could actually play those events yourself.

You'll get more details from the books, this is just a tl,dr. Some of the stuff explained on the video comes from playable campaigns I believe, so you could actually play those events yourself.
