I first heard this song over 50 years ago while in college. I sang it to myself while going to and taking my biochemistry final exam (one of the hardest classes). It got me through it with a smile and an A+ at the end. I always thought about those fish and the need for good bait. Thanks for making it accessible. Still smiling to play and sing it.
📍Blues like Jazz..guess a certain taste for it. I see Blues connected to Country Guitar. With that in mind,U can go in many directions, Not Sad,but Soulful. Like BB King,Who wouldn't want to be able to play like that. His vibratos, alone Challenge Me( why can't I get that?) You caught me at.."Fishing"!!! 😊 Can't have a Bad day,Fishing..even if u get Skunked..lol Tks
@@BluesGuitarInstitute it's the same as mine. Only got it in May, needing a few tweaks but absolutely love it. ❤️. Really enjoy your content. Keep it up
Very detailed explanation of the intro, but you still lost me. Pluck the low E string with the G string first, then hammer on the B string? I will keep trying.
I recorded the song on my Tandberg. I was 25, when I started playing guitar. My friend knocked on the door to tell me that his bought me a guitar, and that I owed him 200 dollars. He had tried to play Beatles blackbird for at least four month. I learned it in two hours. I have never owned the record, so I got my revenge. By the way.... The guitar was a piece of plywood crap. So now I only have a small bodied Levin.
That's not me, that's ultimate guitar requiring payment for a download. UG is where the tab is hosted and pretty much the only way I can legally point you to a good free tab on copyrighted material. for what it's worth, I like the player they have that I believe it's available for free. albeit not a PDF, but it's something.
@@BluesGuitarInstitute The pdf download requires their proprietary PRO TAB to open the download. It looks like you have a limited time to use the direct link and then you are done. Nothing against you but I just don't like these "monthly installment" learning programs. I just don't make the time to have this be feasible. Thanks for your response - I do get a lot of enjoyment from watching your videos. You obviously enjoy what you are doing.
@@mondocain Did I ask you what you "would be grateful for"? No. But since you have stuck your nose where it doesn't belong, give me your interpretation of what - "FREE TAB ON ULTIMATE GUITAR:" means. I think John and I have settled a misunderstanding quite well without your help thank you....... if Mr Hatcher is following this, and I hope he isn't wasting his time with it, I repeat - he is doing a fantastic job and "free tabs" don't pay his bills or keep him out of trouble with the copyright nazi's.

Love this tune, Jeppe. I probably heard it for the first time around 10 years ago but it hooked me immediately.

I appreciate your help on these blues songs but please don't try to spoof me into signing up for payments to get the pdf. Thank you.

No one is spoofing anyone. If you want to purchase the pdf that’s your choice. I would just be grateful for the well thought out and presented lesson.

This is referred to as drop D tuning
Yep. Love it. Double drop d tuning too.
Too much talking, son.
He has to communicate how to play the song. Too bad you couldn't follow.
