Welcome to our channel! In this video, we will showcase our new creation, which we started constructing 2 years ago, but it didn’t come to fruition until now. We are talking about the large-scale reconstruction of Cologne Cathedral in Minecraft. Although it is not an exact copy of the real cathedral, we assure you that we were inspired by it. This project took many hours of work, and we are very excited to share it with you.

I like the fact that this isn’t an exact copy of the real one but an actual redesign by you. I love the small rose window in the apse, it gives a little theatrical touch at the end of the nave conveying the sight of the visitor to the sanctum, it’s actually quite a baroque touch (it kind of reminds me the beautiful window that Bernini designed for the apse of St. Peter’s Basilica, adapted in gothic forms). Very good job!
(Also, the base of the pillars is awesome, not very gothic but perfectly fitting with the pillars themselves)
The detail in this build must have taken HOURS....choosing the right block in combination with other blocks. How do you even begin to design something like this?? I am in awe.
