What I love about this show is that there are longer story arcs, but then there are these great one offs. This is basically a Western about a gun slinger saving a town from bandits, and then riding away. Classic.
From what I know what I looked into about a chain code. It was shown in the Solo movie. It was put into effect during the rise of the Empire, following the Clone Wars. A chain code, from what I've gathered to understand. A chain code is basically like your social security number. After birth, I guess, when you register your identification, your a chain code, which again, I'm assuming is tied to your DNA. I'm still mad that we never got Omera's backstory. You KNOW she's seen some sh*t, being able to shoot like that, plus sharp enough to think of the basket trick during an attack.

Two people in charge of Star Wars on Disney + are Dave Filoni and the guy who directed Iron Man. Dave Filoni made the clone wars cartoon and was George Lucas’s apprentice on the show. That’s why it feels like Star Wars.
Chain codes contain both biometric and personal data about an individual. So it's like a thing that can track your DNA and also has your police record attached to it....sorta. The tracking bit is only short range though so somebody would have to figure out where you are roughly before the fob picked you up. That hunter at the end must have made a lucky guess as to what planet to go to before he could get close enough to track though the exact range would of course vary depending on the needs of the story.
This episodes AT-ST reveal was spoiled by the merchandise. All the grogu merch was saved for after his reveal but beforehand the show had a few bits of merch revealed and one of them was a lego set of the AT-ST
You really need to watch the animated side. Clone Wars and Rebels, because those shows tie into the Mandalorian, especially in Season 2! All these shows, including Mandalorian, are Dave Filoni. This is why Dave Filoni is now the Executive Creative Director for Lucas Films. I think the Clone Wars and Rebels will surprise you haha
Gina was also Angel Dust in Deadpool. While her acting needs some more practice, it is very difficult to find a female actor that can believably roughhouse with men on screen. Her being easy on the eyes is definitely a plus too.

Honestly, I'd love that by the end of Mandalorian seasons, he finds his way back to this island to settle down with that woman and that's the finale.
