I tend to agree... especially since he seems likely to surpass 500 wins. With that said, I think before these two Final runs, people felt like his lows outweighed his highs. Add that to the fact he isn't North American (which voters seem to consider a strike against for some reason), I wouldn't have been shocked if voters kept him out. But with these two finals runs, and certainly with a cup win, I don't think he can possibly be denied.

If they could resign Martin Jones again for the same kind of deal to be the #3 guy , that would be good. But he may go to Buffalo. Otherwise, I would run with Woll and Hildeby, with a veteran guy like Jones behind them. See how it goes. Once Tavares contract has finished, there will be more flexibility especially since the cap is rising every year now. That way they can keep Marner who is an extremely important part of the team.
