    OBJEX Link RISC-V edition⚡
    This version of OBJEX Link "v1.6-C3" is based on the new ESP32-C3 which has a 32-bit single-core RISC-V processor. This version of OBJEX Link is very useful for various IoT devices (wearables for example) and for applications that require higher power efficiency or other features such as Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi 4.

    So the single-core ESP32-C3/C6 is the successor the ESP8266... not the ESP32-S series (dual-core LX6)?
    With so many different flavors of the Risc-V chip (C3, C6, etc) with each selecting the ISA options it wants.. will the c-compiler or python interpreter, flag an error if one tries to enable pull-up on a pin that only has a pull-down option? ex. button = Pin (22, Pin.IN, Pin.PULL_UP)? And even when the Risc-V chip supports the same ISA instructions, will chip from different fab-houses have different performance based on the nm technology, and how it implements those instructions?
    When you plug in a ESP32-C3 or C6 board, does the Risc-V's USB peripheral instantiate as a COM port, or as a JTAG/SWD debugger, or as a Mass-Storage-Device... or all three? For example, I've seen some boards that have a BOOT button to access a bootloader (in ROM?).. but can you upload the application via a serial terminal (ex. Hyperterminal), or by dragging the bin to the drive?
    (I'd like to buy the "ESP32 C3 0.42 inch LCD" from Banggood in order to learn and debug with, but not sure if I also need a special debugger adapter to step thru the code (ex. Segger), and/or a USB to serial cable (ex. FTDI) for general print/logging?)

    How to design a pcb from scratch with esp32 c3 that i can flash with usb c and is also powered by usb. Minimal project that read a sensor and send signal with Bluetooth. Would love to see a video

      Maybe in the future I will make some videos where I explain how to design an IoT node.

    Can the Slim stack connector deal with people accidentally inserting the module in reverse?

    • @SalvatoreRaccardi
      @SalvatoreRaccardi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nothing happens because there is a reverse polarity protection circuit.

      Maybe yes, In a couple of weeks I will design some concepts to explain how to use OBJEX Link😀

    We would very much like to see your work and I wish you further progress, but I want to ask you some questions and I hope you will answer..
    1-Do you use these paintings for your own business
    2-Do you sell these boards?
    3-If you sell, is there shipping outside Italy and how much is it?
    4-Can I take your number to contact?

    • @SalvatoreRaccardi
      @SalvatoreRaccardi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, here are all the answers to your questions:
      1-OBJEX Link started as an experimental project, now it's becoming more of a startup.
      2-I currently sell some prototypes on tindie, in a few weeks will be available v1.6 and RISCV
      3-I ship outside Italy, on average it costs about 20euro with UPS express.
      4-You can contact me via email info@salvatoreraccardi.com or on instagram

    What IC did you used for Bluetooth antenna?

    Do you plan to certify and sell this as a product?

    • @SalvatoreRaccardi
      @SalvatoreRaccardi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is my goal, Currently I have used only RoHS components and I hope to start getting the first certifications within a few weeks.

      @@SalvatoreRaccardi @Salvatore Raccardi cool, do you have certification experience? I am soon going through this process for my controller (it uses an esp32). I'll give you the tips that I learn along the way ;)
      Your design is really cool being smaller than the typical ESP32 module but I think that because you touched the circuit with the antenna, you will require extra BLE certification and I heard those are hard/expensive

    • @SalvatoreRaccardi
      @SalvatoreRaccardi  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the certifications are very expensive, about $5000, I will most likely use a specialized lab. Especially for the antenna tuning and certification. I've developed very few prototypes for now, it's not a finished product to be sold in big warehouses for now.
