Have seen this movie several times, it's quite nice. A different premise than the usual love story.
I seen a really good Christmas movie a few years back starry Linda Hamilton , she was a homeless woman , the story was well written and the actors were fantastic as well. I wish every story could have a happy ending , especially for the children, this World is a tough enough row to hoe as it is let alone all this added pressure and Division created by those with Personal Special Interests.

My American buddies invited me over and told me that they could offer me a rent-free place to stay in a suburb of San Diego, California, and in downtown Austin, Texas ...
Being on a tight budget, I would be able to visit only one of those states ...
Which of them do you think I should choose and why?
My main interests are practicing my American English with native speakers, visiting natural wonders and meeting single women searching for a life partner.
(I sure hope that American women are as nice and caring as they are portrayed in all those Hallmark movies).
Also, my friends suggested that I learn to use some US slang or I won’t be able to communicate with the local residents on a proper level but I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort …
Won’t Americans be trying to express their thoughts in plain English seeing that they are dealing with a foreigner?

Awesome story. How I wished it for real
Anyone who's heart is hurting can make their story real. There is no better time than Christmas to make it happen. Although I am far away from my mother and family I still hear from my mom. I live alone several states away and can't afford to go see her during Christmas. But I still answer the phone when she calls to update me on her life. Really all she needs is for someone to listen. So I do that for her. She's all I have in the world and she's not well. I'd love to be able to go see her at least once before she's gone.

Great story- regarding the Christmas tree - when I was a kid , our tree always looked “ worse” than this one - I was second youngest of 10 siblings and my dad would wait until the tree lot was ready to close on Christmas Eve, and only the most “ scraggly “ trees were left to buy- ( dad bought the only tree left that he could afford) - we spent most of Christmas Eve “ positioning and repositioning “ the tree in living room where it did not look so bare! Then we decorated it! To us it was the most beautiful tree in the city. 🙏 .

I first watched this cause it had Howard Hesseman and Joe Flaherty but then I began to really like the story and characters too.
The only Lifetime movie that I wish came out on DVD. How such a trashy network could put out such a great movie baffles me, or it was at a time when they cared about plotting and actors.
