OU fan here. It's not a great matchup for us on film or on paper. But there are a lot of unknowns. You're going to see a very different team on both sides of the ball on Saturday if we get back the players we're expecting. And they haven't really used the playbook yet. We'll see I guess.
UT hasn't opened their playbook up either. Nico has yet to play a whole game even against a ranked NC State. Defense looking very stingy. Should be an interesting game.

I watched a film breakdown from Nick Saban last night on some team they played. He was talking about defense discipline and said, " Farm your own ground, let the next man farm his ground. Discipline breaks down when someone thinks they need to farm someone else's ground."

I love my Sooners, but the combination of youth and injuries on the offense has just been too much to overcome. An anemic OU offense won't cut it in this game.

Coaches Heup and Banks will have a great plan. Banks is good at scheming. He played vanilla again against Kent, but will go all out against OK.

He will be able to start. His targeting ejection was in the first half of the last game. Meaning he is eligible to start the next game. He looked real good last game too. Thought he was a linebacker for a second there cause he was hitting so hard. Go Vols!

Most importantly, I hope for a battle. Realistically I just see Oklahoma sticking with Tennessee a few drives. Then once Tennessee settles in and dials it in on their play book. Tennessee defense will wear down Oklahomas Offense and once Nico and Sampson settle in. It’s game over. Tennessee is officially firing on all cylinders (defense and offense are good). It’s a great year to be a vols fan and if they don’t get a spot for a National championship this year. Better watch out next year because Tennessee isn’t saying it’s 98 again anymore. #9 is second string. That's why he flew on the tackle like that. He hasn't been in much gameplay. Hopefully coaches will straighten him out this week.
