To be clear, it wasn't exactly an imagination or a dream. She was actually having a psychotic break or in another term, a psychosis. One of the ways people get this is if they go through a traumatic event which in this case, was a car accident. Often times people get very vivid hallucinations (not just visual, mix of tactile, smell, taste - whole package) and they have a hard time discenring things from reality. Cases and intensity differ but yes in this it was almost like a dream because nothing made sense but every single aspect of that hallucination actually is something a part of the things going around her. Just something to share because when I first watched this and realized it was a psychotic break it really just put me to perspective how scary that is jaknsdm In your mind everything is just odd and confusing and you dont understand why and it's scary and when youre finally brought back to reality it's so jarring you dont know which is real and whatever reality youre in at that moment during your psychosis, it was so horrible that your mind had to find a way to keep your mind safe so being pulled out of it is just as scary too.
