I think you’re doing a fabulous job decorating and mixing the modern with the antiques. If I could make one suggestion it would be to get new more contemporary lamp shades for the bedside lamps.
The little sofa looks perfect in the closet! Gives it a luxury store vibe🤩🤍 (maybe move it a bit away from the wall?) Also the carpet there makes it so cosy😊

The bed is gorgeous
The new bed frame looks so comfy! And the low chair works great for the closet, making the dressing a space you can spend time in. The only down side is that it is a little bit big and an make the space feel a little bit smaller, but I think you should keep it!

The bed is looking good, if you feel it’s low , you can check the bottom to see if you can add legs(stands) to it to elevate it
Lou, thank you so much for showing us Barcelona! It looks gorgeous! Of course I loved the Paris vlog but I've been to Paris and even before I went I had an idea of what I'd see. But Barcelona feels so fresh and is so new (to me), so thanks! Also we have a Cecconi's where I live (Los Angeles) I wonder if they're related or if that's just a common name? In terms of the bedroom, the bed is perfect but ya the table and low seat seemed a bit too deep for the space. But the low seat looks great in the closet and will probably be very useful.

Oooohhh I envy that sun 😍 (I know it’s not always like that of course). I can’t wait for spring. Seeing you at the beach makes me want to go too! I haven’t been to the beach in 7 years I guess 😂, but will definitely go as soon as possible (aka as soon as the new metro line from my city to the beach starts riding).

The small sofa looks nice in your closet, but have you thought of maybe lifting it on a wood base that a carpenter could help build for you. That way it doesn’t sit so low and you could then put it in the bedroom like you wanted. You could have the base upholstered to match the sofa too. As always fun video!

Your bedroom looks really cosy with the new bed. I like your new coach BUT not in your dressing room. 1) Necessity: I'm not sure about the absolute necessity of a coach in your dressing room anyway. You told us that - most of the time - you keep the blinds down in order to prevent heat and damages on your bags/clothes like color fading ... For this reason, I don't see you sitting in this room and spending some time with a book etc. You have many places in your flat which are more adequate, cosier, less isolated, ... 2) Practicality: The coach is really low, the window high. You would need new lighting, a side table, ..., to make it work. IMO, this dressing room would loose its specific function. But you're right, you probably need something like a small central island with drawers to put together your outfit for example. It is sometimes difficult to find a balance between functionality and good-looking/cosy furnishing. I'm excited to see how you solve this "problem". You have made an amazing job in such a short time so far!!👍

You mentioned sleeping tablets. Do you suffer insomnia? Or are they more of a natural sleeping tablet to help you relax for sleep?
I do have a hard time sleeping with anxiety but I try to only use natural gummies and I only take them when it’s 3 am and I still can’t sleep. I try to read or even meditate 😂 sometimes it’s just not enough
@Je suis Lou yes lack of sleep affects your whole nervous system. I went to a hypnotist about 6 years ago, and it really helped. She also made me a recording to play when/if I ever needed it.
Hi Lou, is it hard to find new friends in another country? ☹️ Do you go to events or other activities to meet new people and what’s your opinion on nowadays way of socializing 🤔 I personally noticed that after covid people tend to be more “antisocial” and it’s harder to make new relationships 🫤 What is your personal experience? 🥰
Hiiii! It’s been definitely hard, I was already quite antisocial before COVID but lately feels harder to be around other people for long periods of time, feels a bit draining 😅 since moving I have made a few friends! Not many but very good ones, and most I have meet either on social media or a friend introduction
