The thing I love the most about Dynazenon, aside from the mech and kaiju, is the atmosphere and dialogue. They speak like real person. Soft-spoken, casual chattering. And they are quite awkward when teaming up for the first time, because guess what, none of them knew each other that well except Chise and Koyomi. The VO is just on-point and really elevates the show for me.
Exactly, the background ambiance and environmental sounds like the PA announcement in this clip also helps to elevate that atmosphere. It's such an impressive, subtle thing they have here. Makes this show about giant kaiju and combining robots have more realistic dialogue than most anime out there.
yeah, like Rikka in gridman, the way she talk with her friends is...normal, no exaggerated, no overreacting, just a normal conversation, it's refreshing to hear an anime character can talk like that.
The way her expression changed very slightly but it conveyed two very different emotion 1. hiding her happiness 2. annoyance her mouth was still sad but just her eyes moving were enough ... props to trigger

Considering Yume's reaction in the previous episode when Yomogi tried to ask her out was just a blank stare, I found this turning of the tables to actually be kind of funny. And yeah, I'm aware that she also asked him out to eat at the end of the previous episode, but considering the circumstances, it was probably logical for him to believe that she just wanted to cheer him.

I've been watching anime only for like 6 months now, and all I can guess without the subs are - she asks if he wants to go to the summer festival, and he says not really. And she says she wishes a bit to go . He says it's be fun. Everyone will be there. He says something else and she says she doesn't know. This is what my brain tried to imagine 😂 if anyone knows what they're actually saying, please do comment!

Then he asks, "are you?" She says "yea, a little bit". Then he says "wanna go?" She says "yeah" or "hm" as in she agrees. Then he goes "great, I'll invite the rest too and we can all go together". Then she just agrees but changes her expression to disappoinment. I don't really remember the actual words but this was my impression of the scene.
