I recommend all the Showbiz/Chuck E. tapes, especially Concept Unification, where they somberly explain how to destroy a Showbiz Pizza and convert it to Chuck E. Cheese's after the rebrand... They're all on TH-cam, give them a shot!
Holy shit, I worked at a Casey's Pizza (Local to the midwest USA for those who live somewhere with population) in 2021, literally identical process to that pizza tape, the equipment was just barely different. Even the expertly trained Pizza-assassin in 1:02:06, who is prepared to defend the store with his pizza blade. Pizza never changes.

I posted about my Blockbuster job experience on the last one. If you want another text dump, you're in luck. This training tape actually makes me miss the previous one with the leather jacket lady. I have no idea what they were thinking with the 'Buster' character. Why would we be compelled to learn from someone that blatantly annoying. It's intentional, because even the employee character is getting annoyed with them. Anyway, Blockbuster absolutely promoted upselling, but none of us actually did it, so scorpy saying he never experienced it sounds about right. You were supposed to ask if people wanted any 'candy, popcorn, or soda' as you were ringing them up each time. Everyone who is new tries to do it for like a day or two then stops because the customer already decided if they wanted those things before they got to the register and you just end up wasting time. I don't think I've ever tried to sell someone on a different movie if we were out of the one they wanted just because they had the same actor. Maybe this makes me a 'poor employee' or something, but I actually didn't like recommending movies. I don't really know you or what you like, and I don't really have the time to get that personal. Maybe if we were a smaller store, but we were massively busy all the time. I would NEVER do what the girl says at 21:11 and tell someone we'll have copies of the hot new release coming back later in the day. You're just going to frustrate them if they come back later and you still don't have it (because you won't, because they're gone as soon as they come back. They wouldn't even make it back to the shelf). Also I'm not committing your 50 best movie list to memory, you dope. 24:13 - "All our tapes are for sale" No they weren't. Or they discontinued whatever that was by the time I got there. I mean yeah you could just not return it, but the late fees would have still accumulate. I can't remember what happens if you just never returned to pay the late fees. They got all your info on file, so maybe they sent it to collections, lol. Though I mentioned the removal of 'late fees' in my last post and how in that scenario you would essentially buy the movie, but that's a different story. The thing that amuses me about these videos is that they're saying 'look for the opportunity' and they set up a scenario where the opportunity falls right in their lap. It's never that easy. Most people don't talk like these customer characters like they're thinking out loud. I also don't think I ever recommended gift cards/certificates to people. People are generally smart enough to know what those things are on their own. Also the huge video bible is amazing. I am glad everything was on the computer during my time there. The great part about all of this is, in order to make sure you were checking people out 'correctly' they would send mystery shoppers into the store which are just people hired by the company to pretend to be normal customers who then rate you and return the feedback to the company. I always got perfect scores, despite never upselling or trying to sell you on different movies or whatever. So my guess is the mystery shopper knew that stuff was mostly bs and just gave you a good score as long as you weren't an asshole. There's one thing I did sell on occasion and it was the movie pass, which was sort of like a monthly subscription that just let you swap out movies as much as you want. I can't remember the exact pricing but it was the one thing I considered actually a good deal if you liked to watch a lot of movies, and people were often interested once you explained it. This whole video was weird. Why the nerd character? Why the awkward son character? Were they supposed to be funny? Or... Whatever. The end, I guess.

6:24 that semi is making an illegal right turn from the left lane, why is the driver of the small car considered to be at fault here like yeah i get that the truck needs more space to turn but i dont think ive ever seen one take a right turn from fully within the left lane
no its legal, at least in america semis are allowed to use as much space as they need for a right turn i think. sometimes they can even use up 3 lanes for their right turn if its trailers long enough. the driver is at fault because they ignored the turn signals on the truck, and once the truck turns that far they probably cant see the car. lots of crashes occur here bc of that :( i believe the rules are the same for buses as well
