Encountered legendary giant mosquitoes during my hike of Kilim 1 last year (2023) 😂. Sharp rocks at scrambling sections but still manageable in a pair of Teva XLT2s and without gloves. Nice video, thanks!
Legendary 😂😂. Rocks at Kilim 3 are much sharper and there is one part needs to rock climb next to cliff. I didn't capture the video as it's really dangerous. Thanks for stopping by the channel.
@@HikeGuy Thank you for the heads up on the Kilim 3 razor rocks. Will be sure to gear up appropriately when I attempt it. Good job warning aspiring hikers to bring gloves, we didn’t have any and had to be extra careful (though I will qualify that we have bouldering experience and are reasonably fit) - nearly lost our way on the descend too which was no fun as not a single soul was climbing this peak (which is scorching hot and humid in the afternoon). Finding the trailhead was actually the most difficult part due to unmarked roads, your opening clip (showing the house landmark) is a very useful reference, which is precisely why we created a Google Map POI “Kilim 1 Trailhead” for ease of navigation, speaking of which, really appreciate that you took the time and effort to upload GPX files. On another note, Kilim 1 appears to be Bukit Kilim East on AllTrails but we didn’t use the app for directions then and can’t confirm, maybe other viewers can verify :)

It's normal for me to provide the GPX in all video descriptions and it's trailhead google coordinates. Hope it helps.
We also hike bukit kilim 3 and bring the signage to put there. So beautiful view at peak.
Thanks for doing the signage. The view is very nice indeed 👍
