Like them or not, they always put on a good show. I know everybody wants to hate them but they always kill it! 2003 I think or maybe a little earlier, but I went to a Metallica concert - Summer Sanitarium ( Def Tones, Limp) and Limp Bizkit was by far & away the best show there. Many went for Metallica but left going damn Limp killed it! Fred was all up in the stands and all. It was great!
Totally random but in 1997 one of my best friends and I went to see Korn at the Athens, GA convention center with Helmet as the opener and Limp Bizkit as the middle act. We knew and loved Helmet (mainly why we went) plus were just getting into Korn (still a fav band to us) but had never really heard of LB. They tore the place DOWN. It was a super energetic show and we were blown away to say the least. Afterwards Fred was in the loddy area selling cassette demos of Three Dolla Bill, Y'all with Counterfeit on one side and Pollution on the other for $3 each no less and just talking to people in the lobby, chill as hell. I got one and let him know they were amazing. We listened to that over and over until we picked up the actual album. Been a fan ever since.
Love hearing stories like this! Korn and Limp Bizkit Ive seen together but only in a festival environment, proper show woulda been epic. Glad you had a blast!
@@peteza91 It was an incredible show start to finish. Like 2,000 people total, very intimate pits haha, you kind of became buddies with the people in the one you were in during it.
I saw them in Dallas opening for Faith No More in club around that time. It was crazy. No idea who they were. Tiny stage and they tore it up. My biggest memory was the cover of Faith and Wes was wearing an old school gas mask the entire time. It was hot as hell in there and they just blew it up.
Man, and I bet those tickets were dirt cheap too. Back in the day I saw Hed PE and Papa Roach for $14 at the Metro in Chicago. These days you're lucky to spend less than $100 to see anyone play live. I'm not lamenting this in a "back in my day" thing, but more that the generations below millennials have such a harder time risking money to see a cheap show and discover something the way you did with LB or the way I did with Hed PE at that show.
@@fcon2123 Well said! And yeah if I remember correctly they were $20 a piece. Got to admit my jealousy I would have loved to have seen Hed PE back in the day in such a smaller setting.

Wes is a sweetheart in real life, but onstage he's a fucking monster. Period. Anyways, I hope everyone is doing OK. Respect 👹
They scheduled the tour stop in hot August night here in Phoenix at an outdoor venue!!! WTH??? The temperature is extremely hot and the monsoon storms are unpredictable?? Hope they change to indoors.....
Did they play it twice? Cos I videod that song last night in Sydney and it’s different. Also when I recorded it it was 8:20pm .. pretty dark. I’m confusion
Did the same thing in Melbourne. At first I thought it was a mistake of they played it again due to time constraints (they stopped for a few mins cuz a girl at the front was fainting or having a seizure?)
man i remember seeing limp bizkit back as a teen, it had way more power then. people werent putting their phones in the air, they had metal horns up and the mosh pit was bigger than korns.
Not sure why its different for different states Id imagine something to do with alcohol laws since they serve it in an open environment. Personally I prefer the over 18's aspect, but Im old :P I wouldve hated it when I was under 18
I dont have a definitive answer, but my theory is that they have been alternating between shows where they open and close with Break Stuff, and other shows where they open with Out Of Style and close with Break Stuff. They probably planned their set and Wes went rogue

Wes Borland is a badass guitar player who dresses the part. It helps him to feel it, when he owns the stage and he makes the fans feel it with him.
So glad Jon came back to the band
Sound quality for this year's was way better than last year's
Totally! Last year Fred sounded like his balls dropped 20 years ago and this year it sounds like he just did
Wes looks like a Storm Trouper
What is a trouper
Wes is a storm trooper !
In the caption he kinda looked like Pennywise 😂
I recently watched an interview with him and it's amazing how normal he looks when not on the stage 😮
Had to ask my son if he was a fortnite character 🤣🤣🤘🤘
how i dream of going to a limp bizkit concert
