I don't think their language is different from one of South Africans even the ascent ,I believe the south African can hear and understand their language, any similarities?
Yes the language spoken in Lesotho is similar to Sotho in South Africa. They can understand each other well. Although I think the one in Lesotho is more deeper than the South African one.
It is shockingly dirty, with litter & rubble visible. And this is out of character, as here in 🇿🇦 South Africa, Basotho are known as very cleanly people. They even decorate their dirt roads with freshly drawn patterns every day. I was really disappointed.
It would be nice to see those nice clean areas abroad you talk about because the impression from inside Lesotho is that they are dirty people who litter without a care.
Haha 🤣🤣🤣. Well, you must have noticed that there's plenty of Asians, but not Europeans. So being a white man, alone attracts attention. The Basotho people are also not much familiar of the media recordings.... so videographing them sent them over the Edge, hence the curiosity
@@MurphyTube I am from Berea myself but the first time i saw BB.. i was impressed. Yal. have kfc, debonairs etc . I watched the entire video hoping to see shots from tbe main road. or atleast the road from maseru that cuts through BB to places like Afriski. Im hoping for a better reflection next time i come across one of your videos.
It isn't his fault the town has filthy areas, there are parts of even Maseru just like this. Get on the locals about keeping their streets clean and the municipality about placing dustbins strategically around the town and then emptying them. Mind you there are municipal dustbins in Maseru that people heap rubbish around and the dustbins themselves will be empty, so there is no helping some people.
Amazing to see what life is like there, even in small glimpses. Love from America 🇺🇸 ❤ 🇱🇸

I wish the video was longer...
While there may not be a pavement, the tarred road at least, is in better condition than those in many Western countries.

On most of the walk there's very little trash visible. Certainly better than many countries.
It's only this dirty in botha buthe atleast try maseru
Very true very dirty streets
Besotho are poorer in here than in SA
I've seen worse. No on looks to be starving. Probably safer than Chicago.
This could be any town in Jamaica
But the country has a lot of diamonds 🔹 like Botswana 🇧🇼

They need to beautify the country and they may draw more customers. It's as they don't care of how their surroundings or themselves looks.
That is the reason why african countries are suffering their leaders likes western countries than their people
More please

Literally just decided to show the only worst parts of BB. smh
