    Thank you so much for this, Cobuman! Why this is not taught like that? Right to the point and in a clear and simple manner! Thanks again!

      My pleasure. I'm glad you like my videos. I get that question often. People mostly mention schools not teaching in this way. I suppose that is the reason for making these tutorials.

    I work as an IT Support Specialist for a college. I have to do a lot of port activations for different departments on campus. We do have a management tool for our switches so there is a lot of going into ssh to log into switches and tagging and untagging vlans! I have been to some telco closets where the labeling was horrible so we would have to tone out the cable with a toner connected to a link runner.

    • @Cobuman
      @Cobuman  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I bet that is a ton of work. I'm lucky to be working at a fairly new building where all cables are labeled. Although, I did recently did some location labeling for the cameras in the building. I think it was like 7 closets. But it was not too bad as I could disconnect the camera for a moment and see which one went down. It's all POE. I had to make sure security is aware. hehe

    Thanks for the video but l wanted to find out after the reservation of the ip address should you have added it to the dns so it can be accessed using the name on the device over the network instead of the ip address

    • @Cobuman
      @Cobuman  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. Only if you need to reach it over the network, using the device name. Kind of what you said.
      However, if you are setting up another device, like a printer-then you do need a DNS entry. Because you would be using the printer name to add it to computers or access via HTTP/s web gui.
      For all other device, that simply need a connection to the network, you do not need a DNS entry.
      You can also ask the question: Does this device need to be reached by using the device name, rather than IP address? Very situational answer to this.

    Dear Sir l have seen lots of your video and i like very much
    I have a question of MS 365
    I applied a retention policy on some users that they cannot delete mails of months, but teo users mailbox is full, i removed the policy on users but i cannot delete the mail, is there any solutions for the issue

    • @Cobuman
      @Cobuman  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on how email is access. If it's a local Outlook, then you may be able to delete change the email profile on the computer. Have user login and then try to delete emails. If it's web version of Outlook, make sure they logout of every device first. I think this logout option is found under MFA page for users. But, you should also be able to log them out of everything. Then try again.
