    I am an artist, (so naturally very very curious) and an aspiring writer. And I felt my experience of universe had deepened after I indulged in art and deeper I went I started having this crazy thirst for knowing the larger piece of existence... Last few days something was bugging me, saying, "You just learn mathematics and physics, man. There's something in it for you," and I intuitively searched for learning pure mathematics and physics (no exam shits or earning shits) AND STUMBLED ONTO YOUR CHANNEL. Couldn't be more grateful... Thank u very much...

      No problem. Come join us on Discord: discord.gg/TGK47Pf I would love to help someone such as yourself grasp the finer points of math and physics. As Feynman said, you might think we are missing the beauty of a flower, but we see so much more than the normal person can, deep into the very structure of the universe itself, and perceive ideas and concepts that are unimaginable otherwise.

      I should mention one thing before you get too far: These things take incredibly brilliant people *years* to understand and decades to master. If you feel like you're not keeping up, or not making progress, feel free to check in, take a break, re-orient yourself, etc... Give your brain a chance to learn the material!

    There is hope for those people who are putting their time into studying, disregard the confusion keep it to themselves, enough talking badly about Math, it is what it is, condition your mind to it. Finish what you've started. You choose it to be different from them. ( I am not referring to the TH-cam content creator, you did an amazing. ❤ This message is referred to those people who are complaining about Math.) To the owner of this, video. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my appreciation to you, thank you very much. Learning Math is not immediately we cope with it, but, we can do it! Too! So you do not use term "natural numbers", which are actually positive integers. Is it common in the USA not to use this concept of natural numbers? or you just omit it for simplicity's sake (not to introduce spare definitions)? On post-USSR area with use that concept and term quite a lot

    • @lukaskamin755

    0 - (-3) = 3 is strange, you get something from nothing it seems.

    • @jg394
      @jg394  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you feel like it is strange, that means you are understanding the principle behind it. It IS strange! But it works!
      The concept here, of course, is that the opposite of an opposite is the thing itself. In this case, what does "-3" mean? It means start with something (in this case 0) and take 3 things out. What does "-(-3)" mean? It means, those 3 things you took out -- take them out! How do you take out when you have already taken it out? You put it back in!

    • @karlsultana8
      @karlsultana8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jg394 ok, now I imagine the -3 as 3 apples I lend someone, they owe me 3. Doing -(-3) is like reducing their loan, they give me back those 3 apples so I have 3.
