    I’m considering this for my home in a 5 ton for 2400 sq feet, in hot humid south Florida weather. Would you recommend? Is it true variable speed?

      I would recommend. Very nice unit. It is fully variable speed only when matched with the Carrier communicating thermostat and variable speed fan coil or furnace.

    i am replacing the 5 ton carreir that came with my house, it is 13 years old and leaked gas. i can go with a 2 stage compressor and variable speed air handler, goodman, for approx $6,500 (very fair price) or for $7,500 i can do the cooper and hunter CH-60AHU/CH-N60LCUO which is like this one in the video. i can't seem to find any reviews of the cooper and hunter and the company won't take questions from end users, which i found very odd, they said to ask a distributor, but distributors only sell to HVAC installers. any ideas? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    Do you have experience with the Gree Flexx? I'm trying to decide between the Gree and the Carrier 38MURA heat pumps.

    • @albertairinc.1140
      @albertairinc.1140  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not have any experience with the Gree unit. I am a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, so I primarily install the Carrier brand of products. I have to say that I really like the 38MURAQ condenser. It is very quiet, efficient and compact. I think you would be very happy with this unit.

    • @fijiman88
      @fijiman88 ปีที่แล้ว

      This condenser sits 6 inches off of the wall. The manufacturer minimum clearances are 4 inch off the wall and 20 inches in front of the fans. So we actually gave it a little more on the back for air flow and access.
