    They are beautiful. I’ve been looking for tassel earnings and couldn’t find a pair that looked like my style...yours are perfect...I just love them. I’m going to have to look at my crystal stash. I haven’t made jewelry for quite sometime...but I need some like these. Thank you for sharing.

      Thank you, Eileen. I love the colors and design of these earrings. Since making this video I did remake them with slightly larger cones at the top. This lets the crystal tassels hang more gracefully and I'm much happier with them now. Happy creating!

    Nice! Very neat effect using solid beads rather than wire or chain between each bead.

    Hi !!! Beautiful earrings !!! Could the tassels be essembled with a conditioned thread so they would hang straighter ??? Or perhaps use a larger ring for them ?

    I loved this video and your choice of beads. I was wondering for your 4mm crystal beads could I use 6o’s?

    • @SandyHuntress
      @SandyHuntress  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cynthia, thanks so much for the nice words. I'm glad you like the video. You can use any size beads you want for your earrings. Just keep in mind that 6 mm are half again larger than 4mm so the proportions of your project are going to be that much bigger. You'll probably need larger bead caps and end up with a pair of earrings with a lot of presence. Happy creating!

    Really pretty. I never thought to make a loop and crimp each strand. Won't embarrass myself telling you how I've done it. Your method allows for more movement of the tassel strands, which is part of the charm of tassels.
    I'm wondering, do you like your crimping pliers? I have the cheapest version on the market and am considering investing in a better pair. Will those pliers accommodate a 4 mm crimp bead and 5 mm crimp cover.
    Also considering the 1-step looper pliers for projects where a wrapped loop isn't necessary. Do you find the loop size to be pretty universal?
    Thanks for this terrific tutorial.

      As far as basic crimping pliers, I've only ever used these inexpensive ones. I know there are other sizes for other size crimps, but I haven't bothered with them. The One Step Loopers come in 3 different sizes, 1.5, 2.5 and 3mm loops. I use the 1.5 most of the time, but on occasion bring out the 3mm ones.

    Beautiful! Where did you get your crimp tool?

    • @SandyHuntress
      @SandyHuntress  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got both crimping tools at my local craft store (A.C. Moore or Michaels) but you can find them on Amazon. The basic tool: amzn.to/2nqotzh and the One-Step-Crimper amzn.to/2mXyBSz. Happy creating!
