Why do you feel the desire to defend the professor? I'm not asking for you to give an answer or defend your comment, I'm not attacking. I'm asking for you to honestly ask yourself. As a white male myself, I had to unlearn automatically siding with the oppressor. I was taught to always find an excuse why the victim deserved it and why the injustice was justified. That starting point of analysis is not God's way. I need to keep myself in check in this area. That is why I ask you, to ask yourself, Why do you feel the desire to defend the professor?
