I’m watching this because I’m also watching the general conference of the African Methodist Episcopal church and this very beautiful very intelligent woman of God is retiring this year from being a general officer of the church that I love so much and I congratulate her continue to strive for greatness
After sobbing for 20 minutes about not believing I was called to preach she whispered to me, "this is why I know you are called to preach." After three classes I recognized my voice and the journey began. I am more than honored to have sat under someone who understood God called me and made sure I understood that as well. I love you Dr. Fry-Brown and your teaching me has influenced those I have taught to preach!
This has been a blessing to me. I have been preaching for many years and yet listening to Dr. Fry Brown has blessed me and encouraged me to keep going. I absolutely love you Dr. Brown and we are connected.. my name is Terri Lynn :)
I feel like I should add to my resume: "Tutored and dubbed 'A Dangerous Preacher' by the legend Rev. Dr. Teresa Fry-Brown." God bless you, Dr. Fry-Brown! God bless you, Dr. Frank Thomas!
Thank you for pointing out the violent terms we use to describe the preached word and preaching moment. We don't "slay", "kill", "Tear up"... we preach life!
This video, the genius of Drs. Teresa Fry Brown and Frank A. Thomas, was SO NEEDED!! I’ve watched this one video at least 10 times now and the Holy Spirit speaks and shows me something new each time for me to reach, teach and to bring correction into my own life. Thank you.
DR. Fry-Brown; I have been both blessed by you and charged; THANK YOU for every sacrifice; for the price you paid and the path you paved for me- your fellow yolk servant. THANK YOU THANK YOU
Dr. Thomas, thank you so much for putting this series together. I was separated from my mother at 12 years old when I moved from Haiti to Brooklyn, and boy how I wish Dr. Brown would mother me for a day!! What a sweet, kind, and wise soul. I was also blessed by your interview with Dr. C. Copeland. When I moved to San Antonio after leaving the military, she and Bishop Copeland were my pastors for 2 years. Please keep those conversations going. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You're a great interviewer. Yasmine
