    Fantastic series of videos. A great help to us when trying to install out IKEA kitchen. The paper instructions are not that easy to follow!! Thank you so much.

    hi is there any benefit to fitting the runners in the 200m pull out, both in the bottom of the unit instead of as instructed by the ikea fitting instructions of one at the bottom left and one for the uper shelf on the right side of the unit level with the upper shelf ?

    quick question, i have a free standing oven and i want to change to an integrated but not spend alot of money on the kitchen surface therefore, i was wondering if a piece of surface board can be placed in for the fitting intregrated oven instead of a whole new kitchen surface. thanks

    Hi 👋🏻 It is not recommend to install stove that close to the sink. If possible, leave at least 60-80cm between those.

    I am finding this extremely helpful as I am building my IKea kitchen for the first time ever. However it all goes a little too fast for me so I have to watch several times and pause some places. I wish the bit about narrow cuphoards and sliders was at the very beginning of the series as a warning to put the sliders on before assembling a narrow cuphoard. It was VERY difficult so I had to take it apart again in order to fit them as no space for using a screwdriver and I did not have a short stubby one and nowhere to buy one. Otherwise not perfect but very helpful thanks.

      Thank you for your comment and you right some parts are bit fast that's why I'm planning to do more dedicated videos to details in the studio in the future. Thank you for watching.

    What is the countertop made of?

  • @MS--

    Installation great. Design wise though, hood needs to cover the entire hob not half, the microwave door is hitting the hood and the sink is too close to the hob, it cross contaminates. Seen a few setups and what I always remark is people don't understand that nice furniture doesn't magically create space. The previous design from the intro had placement done properly

    The ventilation hood installation is missing? It doesn't look like there was a hole for the smoke to go out. Is that right? I have one similar but not sure how to install it really.

    Quick question, when you cut and joined the worktops how did you seal it? Did you use pva, colourfill or silicone? Great tutorials by the way

    do you know the dimensions of the microwave & can it be build in other cabinets?
    Is the microwave from ikea or another brand?

    • @PPFlatPack
      @PPFlatPack  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I don't know measurements of the unit or microwave (don't have access to it anymore) microwave was from Ikea they sell the cupboards compatible with appliances. I believe you can build in other cabinets just need to use shelve in the right place or sometime there is some stronger support for shelve. You can have a tall unit with open space for a microwave or other appliances. The best is to discuss all before you buy in the store.

      Hello, good Job. You only did a small mistake when installing the microwave, the aluminum piece should be placed below the microwave and not above. You can check in this video from ikea at 8:40 th-cam.com/video/N0w9F21sQYw/w-d-xo.html
