This song explains the benefits one gets by serving Tulasi Devi. According to the scriptures, we have to worship Tulasi ( conduct Tulsi Pooja ) every day. However, the annual Tulasi Vivah should be celebrated on a large scale by decorating Tulasi pot / Brindavana with Garlands and Rangoli.
‘Tulsi Vivaha’ is an important ritual and is an age-old tradition. It is celebrated in the Kartik month
after the ‘Ekadasi Day’ following the New Moon day. Tulsi Vivaha festival is the wedding of the Tulsi Devi (Tulasi plant) to Lord Vishnu.
