- @HeyAlexisDominique and I very candidly express our deep conviction of pledging, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. We share a combined 4 years of Repenting, Renouncing, Denouncing, Deliverance, and Healing in the Presence of God/Godly Council before releasing our separation from this organization with the world.
In this video, we share our individual stories of God leading us out by revealing to us the truth. We apprise the hidden deception that comes with joining Greek letter organizations by way of rituals, oaths, the initiation process, and the ritual handbook. It is God's desire that none will perish (2 Peter 3:9).
It's our desire that many will open their hearts to receive the truth that the Father has given us to share. We recognize that a part of our purpose as Kingdom Ambassadors is to lead others to the one who is the way, the truth, and the life (Jesus). There is a need now more than ever for voices of truth to arise and shed light on darkness and deception that is commonly accepted as right in the world.
We pray that you will take every word back to God and take it upon yourself to do the necessary research and seek the truth.

I will be attending an hbcu fall 23 and It always been a dream to join these organizations. I’m so glad God has woke me up before hand. I pray that I will stand firm in Christ when I start college
Praise God...don't do it...I went to an HBCU and wanted to pledge...I decided I would pledge grad...well God shut it down. I prayed and he did not allow me to go through it. God revealed to me later that this was idolatry and not of him.
It is a process that glamorizes and is culture friendly! Beware of these things. If you have a small amount of belief in God; more specifically, and not fully aware of Christ and our blessings in his sacrifice and the true nature of Christ it’s ok to be skeptical but know that it is nothing more than idol worship. OMG I cannot begin to sound the alarm on this falsehood. Just know that there is An Almighty God through Christ and this is nothing but ritualistic and repetitive empty rhetoric! I remember right before I started college back in 2009, my mom sat me down and warned me against pledging in any sorority. She was never in it during her time in college, but her own roommate in college was one of the leaders within her school's sorority back in the day. My mom told me how she witnessed her roommate literally slap the taste out of another "line sister's" mouth for not folding her clothes properly and everything that goes on and how they treat you during the initiation process. I'm glad I took her seriously and stayed away from it. Now after seeing this video, I'm even more relieved I stayed away.
It’s called trauma bonding. Where they beat the line members into a submission to both weaken their minds and make them feel indebted to the elder members which is nothing more than a form of slavery & mental mind control. The devils tactics. I too am glad you stayed away.
Facts!! That was My experience too- I literally WATCHED these women who pledged get embarrassed, humiliated, and just down right Disrespected!!! I couldn’t understand WHY they felt this was Necessary to do!!! I seen one girl get her star quarterback bf Stolen by her Older Line sister who told the pledgers they couldn’t have boyfriends UNTIL they crossed over!!!🤦🏾♀️🤔😒
These organizations are to create spiritual HOLDS OR ATTACHMENTS on you!
And the weird thing is- even though my grandmother was NOT in contact or in communication with her organization (the eastern stars) ; when she passed away THEY KNEW and said they were coming to before a “ritual” at her funeral! I was flabbergasted… I couldn’t understand how they even knew or why after All these yrs OVER 20+ that my grandma was not involved- did they want to travel to GA to perform a ritual, place something on her casket and IMO help to send her soul WHERE THEY WANTED It to BE DIRECTED TO GO!! 😞
I’m not sure but I do know my grandmother was a woman who I LOVED DEEPLY BUT her spirit WAS not of GOD!! It was no disrespect to her and the life she lived but she led in divisiveness and Inequality! It wasn’t until she was diagnosed with Dementia and I had to care for her that she ACTUALLY (after some time) began to see THE ONE she always pushed away (to a degree- I’m Part Puerto Rican and she didn’t “like” Hispanics-😒) I WAS THE ONE TO CARED FOR HER AND NEVER MISTREATED HER OR DID HER WRONG at her most vulnerable times in her life! My grandmother began needing ALOT of help and it was in Those moments - she would look at me and say “thank you, baby girl - I love you so much”! My grandmother NEVER said things like that- esp out the blue! I got to see the GOD in her at those times- I truly changed my heart and mended a somewhat broken relationship!! I finally felt accepted And LOVED by her!!!

I am so proud of you ladies! I am a deliverance minister and I have lost friends over trying to expose the enemy in this for many years. Even fellow ministers refuse to want this truth. I see the Spirit of God (Jesus) all over you both, you are the epitome of TRUE beauty.
When I was in college back in the 70’s, I was awarded work study as a part of my financial aid package. My work study assignment was to assist the nurses at the campus hospital. I thought about joining a sorority until I witnessed some of those pledging getting sick, having breakdowns, etc. It was very frightening. That was all I needed to decide it was not for me.

I have 4 kids 2 boys and 2 girls and my husband was encouraging them all to pledge and for what ever reason my gut was like NO. I now know it was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. Then years later I was shown the truth about sororities and fraternities along with other "secret societies" and I am so thankful for God showing me all the spirits we have to battle day to day. Keep your heads up. I will pray for you to continue to be strong and thank you for sharing your story so hopefully this will inspire more people to dig deep into what they are signing up for as Hosea 4:6 states we are destroyed for lack of knowledge. When I was going to college many moons ago, I knew deep down in my soul that fraternities wasn't for me. I was coveted with discernment and I thank you God for protecting me.

I did not have the spiritual vocabulary in 1992 to articulate what I was going through, but looking back, I Thank God for some strong older sisters who confirmed and encouraged me to stand firm on God's word through my journey. My pledge mate and I, de-sistered our sorority. We were still in college! She shared with me that she'd become convicted of the rituals and vows we took and I came into agreement. I was also disappointed by the cliques that had formed in the sorority that left many of the sweet quiet girls. We went and turned in our pins and later filed the paperwork. It was a really big deal on our small college campus. I still love many of the girls and consider them my sisters.... in Christ, as we have all grown closer to the one true God.

I was even thinking that I would be honorary member. This video randomly showed up on my TH-cam feed and I know that it was God for me to hear this because 5 - 10 min into me watching the video I began to repent as I heard Holy Spirit say that I need to repent for even the desire to want to be a member. I also thank you because this is just not about Greek organizations but it can be applied to any Golden Calf idolatry that I have allowed knowingly and unknowingly into my life. I appreciate you girls and pray that God bless you and promote you.
These beautiful, holy women of God, reminded me of; Mary n Elizabeth. I never had the college experience, or the binding of sorority experience. However, This came up on my channel, and cried out and wailed before God, for there were many other soul ties. So, to you holy spirited filled women of God, your obedience have touched many parts of many people souls. Thank You so much for your obedience and your transparency.
Sooooooooo proud of you all for sharing your story and doing this publicly! When I was on line in college (we would have been first fam, or whatever) I was deeply convicted by the Holy Ghost. Without having know or read much if any scripture at that time which spoke against these organizations I was initially troubled by the symbolism rooted deep within these orgs. The Lord later revealed scripture to me regarding not swearing or giving an oath by heaven or earth. Let your word be your word.

I didn't go to college so I never pledged but I always felt that it wasn't right. One day my good friend who is now an actress told me that she denounced Delta and sent me the link to a sermon by Fred Peice Jr. That broke it all the way down. I was like WOW. People will cut you off and get mad at you if you try to share the truth especially from me since I didn't even go to school or pledge. They think I don't know what I'm talking about. Are members threatened with physical harm if they try to leave?????? Just saw a video about a few members of other sororities who died from hazing. Two of them drowned. A few others crashed into a tree from hazing exhaustion. The video says they were threatened with physical harm if they mentioned what went on in the sorority. It angers, stuns, and disheartens me that Black people would consciously allow themselves to be degraded after our history of brutal American slavery.

My grandmother would always tell us as we were getting older, “stay away from those roroties baby”
She was a Southern bail and she had pledged effort for her dirty and her collegian experience probably in the 50s. She explained all of the things that they had her doing like eating like a dog and wearing white cotton shoes and doing other things that are not suitable for young women. Looking back I’m so thankful for that because the world tells you that as a black person you need an organization to help you to get ahead. But I never included myself with any Greek organization when I was in college and I can tell you that in my career I didn’t see much success after getting a journalism degree.
I stand here and can say that during a pandemic I was able to purchase my first home. I was able to do a lot of other things at my age without a group or an organization around me to support me. I came from a small church that has a small number of people congregating there each week but God. I want people to know that you don’t have to know anybody and God will still provide for you you don’t have to bow down to anybody’s idol or image

Wow, when I went to college years ago I had such a funny feeling about Greek Houses and even though I was selected for a house I opted not to join. Jokingly, I used to say it was because it felt like joining was going into bondage because the freshman had to work so hard cleaning and working in the kitchen for others. it's crazy cuz I've always wanted to be an AKA since high school because I wanted to be a validated "pretty girl". I felt that would validate me. I was insecure. But I never got to pledge, when I was in college they were suspended, and I had 3 more times to try and I obstacles happened. That was nothing but GOD protecting me from this. He knew and he was protecting me from what I wanted...Thank You God!

The devil hides in plain sight! I was 20 years old about 20 years ago, I was recruited by the Zetas. I was interested but thankful that my mother knew enough to tell me no and that as a Christan woman I could not involve myself with any organization that had secret rituals and pledges. And I am also thankful that I was an obedient child who respected her mother's opinion.
Recently in grad school, I started seeing all of the successful women who have come through these sororities and it made me wish I had gotten involved. Then this video came up on my timeline and it reaffirmed that I made the right decision.

Funny thing is -at her charter school, she had a teacher who took a fascination with my daughter and she was an aka! She wanted to spend time with her Outside of school which is Not so uncommon at charter schools esp this very KNOWN One but Something told my spirit - it was a “grooming” attachment she wanted to place on my daughter and as lovely as the teacher was- I blocked the connection. Then 3yrs later my younger daughter is in her class (slightly darker complexion) and she DID NOT like my daughter; gave her hell in class! I got saved at 12. Around that time my mom and my auntie want me to become a junior delta. I went to one meeting and said that’s not for me
Then when I went to college I’m watching all my friends going through the hazing and etc
AKA and Deltas and the other sorority wanted me to join
I said no thank you it’s not my thing
My guy best friend and I held each other accountable in college bcuz the recruiting process is a lot.
It just never made sense to me to follow Greek sorority or fraternity and we’re not Greek. We don’t know enough about Greek people
This is also the main reason I refused to to join eastern star even though I have family members who are

I pray that many others come out of it. I’ve always said that something didn’t sit right about sororities/ fraternities and I would get attacked because of it. I would ask them well what do the poses actually mean, the mascots etc and no one would give me a straight answer. They would go around. I’m not pledging to nobody or nothing but GOD Himself. I don’t even say the pledge of allegiance. I also noticed people who try to defend the groups would say “This is Christian based” but they fail to realize a lot of things are so called Christian based. Such as our country because they say “One nation under God” but is full of wickedness and is no where near God. It’s a coverup to seem as though it’s all together and holy when it is not. I’m so proud of you two and I’m happy for you. God bless!

I pledged DST in 1977 and held several offices, including DP. A few years later I was filled with the Holy Spirit (speaking in Tongues). After going through deliverance, Holy Spirit revealed to me that my involvement was not of Him. Immediately I got rid of all the paraphenilia, photographs, rubies, diamonds and pearls (destroyed, burned...I did not sell or give away anything)! In 2013, when I was called to the Ministry, I formally denounced my involvement with the sorority. I remain free today and praise God for it. I am so proud of you ladies. You are ministering to thousands through your obedience. Thank you
I pledged Delta also and after 25 years the Lord wanted me to get out. Holy Spirit lead me to review my ritual book. When I saw the oaths I took, I cried. I had to renounce, denounce, and go through deliverance. Headquarters did not make it easy. It took 2 years, but God be glorified.
How do you not sell diamonds, rubies, and pearls, unless they are cheap because they are of very low quality? Most people, including the very wealthy, won't just throw these items away.
@@sandraatkins2539 if it belongs to satan it is filthy and does not need to be sold or re-gifted. In order to be strong enough to do that you have to die to self. God will replace it all of He intends for you to have it.
@@sandraatkins2539 she had to throw them away, because there is a spirit attached to those items, based on why they were acquired, if they were part of any ritual or ceremony possibly and what they represented for her. Selling those items or giving them away doesn’t not “end the life” of those things. @rmcclure5646

My daughter wanted it so bad. She was accepted and at the first oath/pledge ceremony she ended walking out! She said it was so evil Mom.

That was powerful!!! My husband was (and still is) an alpha psi alpha when we met. He is very proud to be in the organization and has been trying to get me to join the aka grad chapter for years. I’ve never read any of the oaths but the look on his face when he talks about this fraternity vs when he talks about God is eerie!!!
