- Tough level, but very easy platinum. The world record is more than a minute lower than the platinum requirement. I decided to at least get under three minutes and as you can see, even that leaves room for some waiting and mistakes. That last enemy nearly ruined it, though.
I was surprised to find out this landed me at #20 on the leaderboard, as I was 24 seconds behind the world record.
My time: 2:59:48
Platinum requirement: 3:41:85 - เกม
The platinum time is lenient but the problem/challenge is staying alive. Plenty of areas where you can get screwed over.
Liam Kelly I’m so 😑 of these Time Trials I just want to get either a Gold or Platinum Relic on all the levels so I can never play the game again.
Breh. Keyvis speed in the first section of the level then patience and staying alive the last two sections. Definitely easier said than done though.
This level is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to long to have a stinking Time Trial!!

This god damn red lizard at the end was annoying me to all hell. It's the one place i kept dying and the try i get and decided to try what you did and it worked. Thanks man you get a sub from me
Wow that's a lenient Platinum time. Seems like it's set up so that as long as you can get through the level without dying, you can get Platinum. Makes sense for one as long as this.
Yeah but its different you can play a level for 10 minutes and not die and take your time but with time trials you need to speed run the full thing without dying
after almost 2 years of trying this level, I still cant get even a relic. This is literally the only level i havent been able to get a relic on

@@mgm.al3mry It's simply way too long. Die near the end because of a cheap jump, you start waaaaay back at the stinking begining.
@@johnhanzelyjr I took a break from relics because it was too frustrating and I am going another break. Man some of these jumps really screw you over....
John Hanzely Jr this is why I thank god this level doesn’t have a colored gem. There is no way I could collect every box without dying.

These trials cannot be good for anyone's heart. Geez man 18 hours down still need 6 gold trials to get the trophy.
It’s really bad for health
I honestly gave up on getting the trophy for these. It's not worth the time or frustration, especially for certain levels. Half of them are unforgiving in the time you need to get the gold.....let alone the platinum.
You're good man. I got 33 hours and still need 12 relics💀

Honestly they should’ve given you the slide after beating the game just like they give you the Crash Dash after you beat 2. Would’ve made some of these TT much more bearable.
Literally I’ve been stuck on this for hours just for one relic 😭I wish there was an option to have those mechanics sooooo bad 😓
My least favorite level of the entire game. I've platinumed stormy ascent and the high road road plenty times. This level has some how managed to be both very difficult and boring at the same time. Ugh, cant stand it.

Thanks to your guide I managed to pass the level, I was already frustrated since 1 AM and in just 2 attempts after watching your tutorial I was able to pass it almost how quickly! great I finished in 3: 03:85

The main things that screw me over with this level and with Generator Room is depth perception and my own impatience when it comes to making mistakes as said mistakes take me back to the very beginning of the level.
Respect this guy! Do you even can imagine how many hours he has spent to do this video 🤷♂️:D

Those platforms at 3:00 suck fat sacks when it comes to doing the time trial. Idk about you guys, but that’s where I messed up the most. My best time is only 3.40 but I still think it could’ve been so much better if it weren’t for the awkward platforms. :/

I have been on this level for a week. And I just platinumed it by 1 second!

It is so weird how all the other tracks are pretty much like the original but not this one.

i started with analogue but couldnt get any relics switched to d-pad and managed to get them all, i find d-pad has much better control
2:52 onward is stupid. I don’t understand that I can hit the rotation platforms. It makes me so mad that they are out of sync

Even though I took my time in some parts of the level, and suffered a few minor setbacks, I still got the Platinum Relic today with a time of 3:37:52, beating the Platinum Relic time of 3:41:85, as well as destroying my former best time 4:04:94. I wasn't even aiming to get Platinum. I just wanted to get a better time than the one I had. My eyes lit up as I saw the end of the level. When I glanced over at my writing book with the Platinum time written down, and when I glanced at the amount of time I had left to finish the level.

I used to REALLY dispise this level with a VERY hateful passion, that was because of the "boxe gem" (you know when you get all the boxes in a level then get the gem at the end) in the ORIGINAL crash 1, but since Activision was SO nice to make sure NOT to include the "lose a extra life/first try penalty" (you know what penalty i'm talking about) in the N sane trilogy, i now hate this level even MORE with a new passion (you can take a guess of what i'm talking about)
Plus i call those other set of gems when you find them on the (death routes)and (colored gem paths) "death route gems"
That goes for the secret levels in crash 2 and 3 as well
what is the penalty you are talking about ?

@@mgm.al3mry The "Death Penalty." die even ONCE, even in a level as LOOOOOONG as this one, you do NOT get the gem. They changed the Jump Mechanics....and didn't bother making slight adjustments to re-balance and account for that change. Makes "Road to Nowhere" and "The High Road" near impossible to clear because of it.
No need to rush... If you have 2 or 3 jumps who you have to wake to make sure you can do it save. Do it. My time is 3:21 for a platinum...
The time is not the problem. The long stage is it, so make a few jumps slower and saver and I got it...
Took me 3 hours....
Now to my last one... The high road...

I actually prefer high road - took me 20 minutes, this has taken me 2 hours so far I can’t F**king do it 😤
this level is a fucking nightmare
I passed this shit after like 100 tries. The time is not the issue, but fuck the last jumps are a nightmare and sometimes the pattern of the level for some reason changes and the jumping pattern must change as well .... You get pushed by a block, which is usually not there the rest of a time, just because the configuration has changed for no reason. The fact it's Way too long make it very frustrating ... Falling after almost 3 minutes is annoying as fuck.

This game is sheer suicide. I got 6 relics left. To get gold you have plenty of time. You can wait when it's needed, don't rush. You have no right to mistake.

I think they were a bit too generous with this platinum time limit. Sure, staying alive through the level is tough, but this requires almost no sense of rushing and being efficient at all.

@@liamprice03 i found fumbling in the dark to be the most boring level. Its ...dark and u cant see the environment. At least this one is nice to look at
