i hate the thought of cutting my bars be it on my dirtbike or mtn bike.....what i do and i know im a weirdo is i buy a pair of cheap grips and trim the ends off.....that way i can move them in or out to where i think i might like them and give it a try for a week or two and then pull them back to the full length bar ends and go from there where that might be......as one gets older you get wacked out on things.....lol
I rode the Orbea the other day and clipped a few trees. Nothing major but after being on the Fat bike for so many rides I just was misjudging my tree gaps. So, I figured I'd bring the bars more inline like the other trail bikes.
@@JustRideZipp2001 .......makes sense......muscle memory.......when i ride my dirtbike the bars sweep back and down.....when i get on my mtn bike the bars feel straight and feels so weird when i go back to the dirtbike......kind of have to re-adjust the brain......but glad you feel better with the bars narrower......im not really liking the mtb bars narrower and i only narrowed them about a half inch on each side.....i should measure it and tell you what it is to see if it is close to your new width bars
