Abba... Why we not always conscious of what we do in life??? Because it hurts me to see people around me, friends, family suffering and sometimes I feel like the reflection of their consciousness at the time and end up believing that's who they are... That's where hate and resentment comes in, that's what I'm expressing right now
We are taught to not be accountable for our actions, thoughts, beliefs, etc by being indoctrinated to believe in things outside and beyond ourselves. It starts there

I agree with the perspective when applied in the western schizophrenic culture those 7 years cycles apply however have you thought about why our human ancestors never cared about counting their ages even those who believed they knew were not quite sure.There is a fundamental reason but won’t apply from a western perspective.The answer is in the circle ⭕️ or cycle of life.
The cycles are precisely why our Ancestors never counted their years. They use to measure age with izilimela which are not only a group of seven stars in the heavens but also a designation for ploughing seasons. Thus how many cycles have you being through and these cycles like the seven stars in the Pleiades constellation take seven years.

What a mind stimulating session of insights.
It is crazy how we have people who grow up to be adults who are not fully developed psychologically and emotionally. These people who continue to bear children and end up in life phases that require "maturity," which they can not respond to. This renders them irresponsible to holistic life's calling because they are not able to respond appropriately due to lack of mental presence( consciousness) and the unfulfilled gaps through various life developmental stages as mkhulu alluded.
The sense of selfhood that is not entrenched through the cycle life plays a role, too. Which is spirituality,social experience, and ancestral stage.
To make society better is to ensure that parents are fully present through crucial developmental stages of children. Presence in themselves first,conscious of their own developmental needs as it is ongoing. Continuous healing practices. Only then when we understand certain aspects about ourselves can we be fully present for others and humanity in its entirety.
