Cos at that time this laptop was costing 1.5 lakh. His laptop gave up in 2022, and he sold it at 20k. And my PC is not going anywhere. I increased the RAM to 16 GB, 1TB nvme, and 1TB SSD with time. Yes, my 1060 gave up after 7 years, but I still use the same PC with 3050 6GB. Adding all these expenses, my final cost is 115 thousand. But this cost edition is also cheaper than his laptop

Gaming laptop is just a fancy word at the end it's a high performance system with dedicated gpu in miniturized form . Aur anytime this powerhouse is better than normal laptop 😅. 2 years old gaming laptop will still be able to beat a new gen Normal laptop .
Bro, for games, try to transfer that money for a better GPU. If you can, try to transfer the cost difference of the CPU to a better GPU But between the ones you said, go for G15 but check whether if it has a mux switch or not
I am architecture student, Buying professional graphic card is much expensive , If have Rtx 3070-3080 (min 130w) , u can do much good graphic stuff on ur gaming laptop

@@ashokmondal8500 4core intel i5 10th gen gtx 1650. Beast for gaming. I am using it for coding, working great. Battery backup is very low max 2.5-3hr on normal usage and laptop is not light it is heavy around 2.5kg

I am not 100% agree with your points specially after seeing amd's new 6800u and Intel's 1260-1280 p the most exciting developments in the recent happened to the low power segment. 6800 u is pretty close to (75%) full power 6800 h so spending same ammount to get a thin and light laptop is not that bad of a deal specially if you are a student or developer ( with some cases as exception). These laptop gives excellent battery life plus capable enough to run almost anything (except AAA games and simulation. Specially in case of simulation laptop is a bad bet to begin with).
Unless your only use is MS Office or printing "Hello World" in python and being done with it, a gaming laptop will always be benificial. You are only focusing on CPU power, but what about GPU? GPU power of an igpu is dogshit compared to a even a low powered dgpu like 1650. A lot of people have this misconception that GPU is only for games but that is not true. Machine Learning demands a significant amount of GPU power and there is no way in the current time that a CS student or a developer will not be using Machine Learning or AI given how popular these fields are. Plus as RTX bhaiya said: Why pay around the same amount for worse performance?
There are scenarios in which other factors matters more . ex: someone might like a light laptop as he's moving a lot or he needs a better battery life with a quieter operations.
@@why9321 no it's not..m a developer and my company gave me a laptop that has i5 u series processor. And m able to use it for development. It's not necessary to have a GPU for code compilation.
