I have found significantly better results NOT using a CloudLifter. The notes don't jump around as much and certain instruments respond to dynamics much better. But I just got the software and am enjoying it quite a bit. You can sing melodies on top while playing chords simultaneously with an armed instrument (piano or keyboards for example) It's kind of like having a third hand. Great stuff!
I think I finally got why I was getting the wrong notes In the calibration process, don't try to "win the game" by adjusting your voice to get the thingy in the center. Find yourself a piano or or any other means of producing a real C, then confidently hold that with your voice even if the thingy says you're doing a C# or a B. Stare right into Dubler2's eyes, and keep holding that note it's claiming you're doing wong. Don't second guess. You are correct. It's just testing your resolve. THEN it will adjust some internal numbers properly to get you your correct note. If you try to please it instead, it won't adjust anything properly and you'll be left like me wondering why you can't hit any note.
What you mean exactly? When you hit a C and Dubler see it as a C#? Go on with a C and automatic adjusted by Dubler as a C? Is this with the dubler mic or with a regular mic? Sorry for my bad english
My Dubler no longer connects after the update…”midi capture “ now stays red ,no volume comes out but the indicator on Dubler 2 shows that there is a input.
For a newbie like me (no experience in neither Dubler, obviously, and Ableton DAW), waiting for the delivery of my Dubler 2 Studio package to arrive in hopefully a very few days, those kind of vids are great. You seem a great trainer and watching your vid is entertaining - so much things to memorize but it seems that once you are in after a few days, things will flow by themselves- time will tell... More vids like these please! And you seem to care for your customer, which is paramount nowadays...
Would this help me program MIDI drum fills and rolls in Pro Tools? Is it easy to map them to say Abbey Road Drummer? Presently I record a drum full using mouth sounds and then have to try to match this into midi notes by a combination of eye and placement on grid.
Hi! That process is exactly what Dubler 2's Triggers feature is perfect for - the software allows you to train specific sounds to trigger specific MIDI notes. For example, let's say you want to trigger a kick drum by making a "Buh" sound; In Dubler you'd train the "Buh" sound to trigger the specific note your kick drum is in the drum kit you have on your MIDI channel in Pro Tools. And it's instantly responsive so you won't get any latency! For a more detailed explanation check out our "Dubler 2: How to train Triggers" tutorial: th-cam.com/video/iUiySeEy9ws/w-d-xo.htmlsi=SYg1x0DefazQNwfb If you have any more questions definitely let us know!
I am a complete idiot to this. I bought it to see if I could add some different things to my compositions. Is there a basic instruction for someone who is a proficient musician but a boob at MIDI? I use Waveform by Trackation as my DAW and it does recognize Doubler, but there is only drums so far.
Hi! We unfortunately don't have a specific tutorial for the Waveform DAW, but if you are receiving MIDI for drums from Dubler 2 in your software then pitch should definitely work as well! When you select Dubler 2 as a MIDI input for your track, you can set the MIDI input channel to 1, which is the MIDI channel Dubler 2 sends pitch from. Drum MIDI is sent via MIDI channel 10. If that still doesn't work then definitely try getting in touch with our support team and we can look into it further🎤

Hello! Dubler 2 has a Chromatic mode that allows you to play all 12 notes without locking to one specific scale 🎤

Does this work with guitar sounds?
Yes! Dubler 2 works as a MIDI controller so you can use it to play and record any instruments or samples you have loaded up in your DAW.
Is it licenced only for one comp or can I install it on my lap too?
You can install Dubler 2 on multiple computers, but you can only use one instance at a time!
Does the Dubler 2 work better with a MAC or PC
It works equally well on both! You can see our System Requirements here: vochlea.com/specs

Hi Daniele - sorry to hear this. Contact us on help@vochlea.co.uk and we'll help troubleshoot the issue!
I am starting to fear perfecting my da da das will take longer than learning to pick out the melodies in my head on a keyboard.
As it's already our built-in form of expression, your voice to create music soon becomes second nature!
7:37 yeah thanks for nothing, mine doesn't do that, it doesn't play any sound.
