Good Review. No Cobra or Scorpion, Could probably have mentioned top 3 Dark Eldar Units to take with Yvrainne as well as best units to attach her to. Personally Mandrakes & Ravagers are spectacular. Mandrakes are new for Ynnari this edition, if I recall correctly they were not previously an option. Kabelites & firing Deck or two Venoms may also be a thing but Arne't in my Yvrainne Ynnari list. I definitely overlooked the Death Jester and re-added him to my list. I love that model and did some work in 9th with him. Glad to see he's useful and available fo rYnnari as well.
Ya I could have included those units but seeing as I plan to include them in my Ynnari videos this next week I thought it best to leave them out for now! Very good units though!
As a little note about Karandras. He DOES do something the squad doesn't do. He has devastating wounds on monsters and vehicles. He doesn't get it against titanic, but he does actually have some anti big thing. It's not great but it isn't nothing, don't think it bumps him up a tier though.
Problem is, Eldar doesn't exactly have a problem with Monsters and Vehicles, so while he does allow the unit to do some anti-vehicle, you could instead take another of any of the anti-tank options instead and task that instead.
I feel that the big change we will see to the army come September will be capping the detachment abilty to once per battleround rather than activation as it is now, because when looking at the top tier units they heavily benefit from it and being able to pop it off multiple times in a turn. Best example that comes to my mind is the Wraithlord, you can shoot and fight twice in a battle round with it, so gets to enjoy 3 super reliable attempts at using their biggest anti vehicle/monster weapons.
Capping the detachment ability to once per round would really suck 🫤 I mean it’s good but is it really “that good” to the point where you have to limit it to once per round? I personally don’t think so but who knows GW is capable of anything and you may be right!
@ProxyHammer1 I just see it as a super easy to enact and announce nerf that would objectively cut down on the effectiveness of the heaviest weapons in the army. Or GW could be bold and fix mortals and DW to not be a problem anymore, but I'm being more conservative and expecting the easier change.
No worry for the wait time ! In WTC rules 2023 I was shocked to see we cannot reroll the 3 additional Fate dices of Eldrad 😮 Don't know why they restricted him even further than GW did because you are right that even with 15 dices it's usual not to roll any 6 contrary to what non eldar players are thinking. I have a Warp Hunter but I never used it so I cannot say, but it's only 130 so I will use it once definitely just to see
Ya you can only roll the original 12 but the three additional still gives you some cushion to be able to reroll a few times if you don’t like your result.

...maybe a controversial opinion but, last time I remember Banshees being anything above lousy was 3rd edition. They're a fast melee unit, that crumples like tin foil if their preferred targets hit back, or if the Banshees actually wipe the unit off the board, they WILL themselves get wiped from the opponents return fire. They die way too easy, and are ineffective against their intended targets for their point cost.

Maugan Ra is VERY effective. 6 very good shoots, making your reapers (including the 2D6 shoots from the tempest launcher) always hit on 2+ and... if someone charge you and has survived the overwatch (or if you want to finish a very close unit (aka infiltrator squad with the phobos librarian giving them the shrouding) by charging them) he is good in melee too. Always make him attack in last because his face of death is fantastic too. I love him.
@@DreyfDreyf He’s definitely cool! I just wish he did something that another unit of Dark Reapers couldn’t achieve (sadly he’s just more anti infantry damage in an anti infantry unit).
@@ProxyHammer1 With the strenght 7 of the Maugetar I think (in fact, I know, because I've done it several times) that he can finish a damaged vehicule. 6 shoots, wounding on 5+ is not so bad and you can reroll all with face of death.
