"Natural childbirth has been going since the dawn of time" And both mothers and babies died in childbirth. What's your point?

    • @PandaGialla93
      @PandaGialla93 4 ปีที่แล้ว +39

Nowadays you can have natural childbirth in hospitals too. Nobody is forcing you to have a "medicate" birth if you don't want to.
If there's the minimal complication without a hospital mother and baby could easily die. And there are cases where pregnancies are so difficult and hard that having a vaginal birth could be life threatening.

yes, the quote is true. My cousin's wife she gave birth her 3rd son at home, because she had a bad experience in hospital with the 1st. Obviously she has a special nurse with her, who has at least 10 years experience i this and she continuously stay connected with the doctor too, in case something happened so they can go to hospital imminently. She said it was a very good experience and give birth home is very peaceful and amazing. My cousin was with her and he supported her, without him she said she can't do it. I think this is how should down natural birth.

other example: a family we know, the women she gave birth her first daughter in the wood, without anything. Only her husband was there. She did without complications, so she was lucky and the baby too. Her husband( now ex husband) quite similar like this man in the video.

@@bloggerblogg5878 my mom had me and my other two siblings all at home with just a midwife. Home birth can be risky for some people, that's why it's important to talk with a medical professional and see what works best for the person who is pregnant. If that's a c section then so be it, if it's at home then they should have the resources available to them. Pregnancy and birth are two of the most difficult things anyone with a uterus may have to or choose to go through, which is why it's important to do what's best for them and their health.

I'm infertile. I love how men like this forget women like me exist. I would love to have children but I quite literally can't get pregnant naturally, nor should I in general because the chances of my body being able to survive pregnancy and produce a healthy child is very slim. I guess I'm not a proper woman 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Seriously. To my knowledge, the spread of HIV/AIDS is rampant because of poverty, lack of education, etc. Many young and vulnerable women are forced to prostitute themselves just to survive, leaving them with numerous children and little chance of living to see those children grow up. A “natural” birth would’ve killed us both. Thankfully, people aren’t as stupid as this fellow and there are doctors that can safely perform a C section. My aunt was UNABLE to give birth to my cousin the 'natural' way. She carried to term, everything seemed fine, all the way to the birth itself. She had to much amniotic fluid (forgot the medical term for it) and was in labor for two while days before they went for C-section.
I have a healthy, amazing cousin who is like a sister to me. Without C-section, she would die in the womb from asfixiation, and we might've lost my aunt too.

Interesting you push a narative. The early feminint movement is often dated to the likes of the declaration of sentiments in 1848 or Wolfstonecraft in 1792. In responce others would point to the likes of Austen or Shelly in the early 1800s but that tended to be just fiction. So try looking back at Heywood from the 1720s Anne Bacon's theological writing in C16 or poets and historians like Elizabeth Cary. If you want earlier Juliana Berners was writing on feild sports, Julian of Norwich on Theology, and we still had plays from the likes of Katherine of Sutton.
If you want to look at a cause you will see for more produced in the middle and far east these were not locations with greater rights but they had more wealth. The reality is that wealth creates the opportunity.
The oppression narative may give you short term satisfaction but don't delude yourself it does any more than that.

I ended up swimming around so much i got the umbilical cord wrapped around 3 or 4 times around my neck. The doctors told my mom and guess what? I had to be removed from the womb 2 months earlier than the due date. C section. Spent a month and a half away from my parents and relatives in the hospital surrounded ONLY nurses and doctors. They(My parents and brother) could only see me a few times a week. And guess what? Here i am. 16. And yeah i had asthama for a bit but i got medication and now it's permanently less or not noticable at all. Have a vitamin deficiency but YET AGAIN i take medicines for that too, living normally. Had severe allergies but grew resistance to them through medicine courses. Doctors and nurses and all the people in medical sectors deserve so much more than useless statements from idiots like these. What would my mother have done if she would have gone the "natural" route? Would she ever have even REALISED i wouldve choked to death in the womb if it werent for those weekly/monthly checkups?

You dont just sit on a bed and POP the baby comes out. It's extremely painful and this man is never going to know it. And if women can pay doctors to take care of them as they go through the painful experience of labour? Then by all means a man has no right to have any say in it.

@Grand Inquisitor What's your point? Women like tall men, so? Men also like short women. There aren't many men out there who are willing to date women taller than them. Besides, just because women prefer tall men doesn't mean they don't date men who aren't tall. All people have certain preferences, but most people end up settling for people who don't meet all their preferences. Go outside and you'll see plenty of men who aren't tall and muscular with partners, and surely not all of them are doctors.
However, it's not even unreasonable for a woman to want a man who is muscular and highly educated. If a woman is fit herself, it's only normal that she would want a fit man. If a woman is highly educated herself, it's only normal she would want an educated man with a good career. Why would she be attracted to an uneducated man she can't discuss anything intellectual with? Why would she be attracted to a poor man who can't keep up with her lifestyle? Why would she want to be someone's sugar mama? And yes, I know men like to say "Men don't give a crap if a woman is educated and has a lucrative career!!! So it's not fair that women require us to be!!!". Well perhaps men should raise their standards then and stop settling for mindless gold diggers and then complaining when they are used for their money and divorce r@ped.
Women can't stop themselves from aging so it's not right to select a partner based only on their youth/fertility. Women are not commodities with expiration dates. We are not objects. We are humans.

@@ms.sherry Since you want to be sent to the kitchen so badly, here it goes:
      1. I never said anything logical to being with? Coming from the person who rely her arguments on buzzwords and coined terms with imaginary meanings, that means nothing. The real reason why you didn't debunk anything is because you can't. Hence you decided to ignore it and pretend it never happened. Typical wahmen behavior... deflect, deflect and then deflect some more.
      2. No, nobody deserves respect until its earned. Because you cannot lose something you previously didn't have. Respect is part of the ancient code of warrior, where one warrior respected the others because they we alike. Strong and honest men. And hence why it is earned. I know there are no words like dignity, honor and power of display in modern wahmens dictionary, so ofc you think its disgusting when you need to earn something. Furthermore, not only that, but another reason why you think its disgusting is because you are entitled to special treatment, and once you get real equality, you feel oppressed. Being wahmen is everything about being wah wah for the extra free things, free of commitment or participation.
      3. "Playing for your exes"; "Manipulated by your lonely a.ss". See wahmen, I already told you that shaming language doesn't work on guys like me. Neither assumption does. Because: you cannot know what kind of relationship I had with my exes, nor am I lonely or not. Assumption is always used when the lack of real arguments are presented. Hence the argument as whole is dismissed.
      4. Nobody said that wahmen. Emotions are part of thinking process for both of us. What I said is that men in general control them better and much frequently uses reason and logic compared to wahmen. Yes, you fabricated me hating anybody, because you don't even understand what the word hate means, what the hate is, as primordial emotion and how its invoked. To give the short explanation of it, nobody is capable of hate towards someone who didn't do some great evil to them. The word you are looking for is mistrust, not liking and so on. And you would be correct on that, I don't trust women nor I center my doings around them because I know better. I already said that buzzwords like se.xism has no meaning, so not gonna repeat myself.
      5. I don't have to believe wahmen are inferior, since there are tons of historical evidences and scientific data to support that claim.
      6. Respect is also not connected to the gender anyhow. Again delusional thinking without real purpose. People respect themselves when they know they are worthy. That's the case with my mom. And yeah, I do respect her because she is calm, logical and emotionally stable women. Unlike many of you, she doesn't get indoctrinated by ideologies and can get her ideas across to others eloquently. Which again most of you modern wahmen cannot. Its se.xis idea to respect individuals of great quality rather then endorsing mediocre masses? Nope. That is just your mediocre personality speaking. I know you got used to special treatment and so on, but that's not what you gonna get from guys like me. You will only be respected if you earn it. I know its hard to muffle your tiny brain around this, but what can I say.... like I said above, when entitled wahmen like you stop receiving special treatment and get an actual equal one, you feel oppressed. And thats what you demonstrated by your comment. I am supposed to respect you just because you are a girl? Hahaha good joke.
      7. A man of quality is indeed not threaten by wahmen. Neither are guys like me. I'm simply stating facts of how the world around us work. Now, since you don't benefit for that, your hypergamous nature demands blood. Not gonna happen. But as they say "theres nothing more that intimidate a women like a guy who can't be manipulated by s...e...x.".
      8. The notion that I have to respect people just because they are alive is ridiculous. This is how I look like: postimg.cc/VrkJfsyw. Now do you really think a dude like me, which got looks, money and status has to do anything? Nope. Wahem throw themselves at my feet all the time, because thats how you been hardwired by nature. You are biologically programmed to look for security in a men and men that have looks, money and status are perceived by female brain as the perfect genetic material for reproduction. So save your shaming language for betas and soy boys. It won't work on guys like me and thats that.

    • @AbaddonTheDestroyer
      @AbaddonTheDestroyer 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@ms.sherry So in conclusion: You don't know what respect is and how it works. You also don't know what hate is and how it works. You also don't know what are privileges you have and how they work. You also don't know how biology works. Now I could go on and on, but the point is, you really don't know anything besides what you heard others say. You don't know how to think and behave as individual, so you need ideologies to shape your life. What to say... be ready for the life with 17 cats, because no sane men in hell would want to be with the likes of you. By saying all this, its also my last reply to you. I have given you 3 chances to come back as normal and intelligent person and you just kept recycling what you originally said and reposing it using different word order in sentence. So instead of deflection, reflect on your mistakes and try to better yourself, because if you doesn't and keep thinking like a naive child (you now are), you really will end up alone in a small apartment, childless, with 17 cats and writing articles like "where have all the good men gone". Now, since I honor my words, you can keep crying in here, but like I said, this is my last reply to you.

"Natural" childbirth in history is the reason we had such low average life expectancies in the past - men lived long lives but there was so much maternal mortality and death in childbirth or early childhood due to diseases we've since eradicated (or close to). I agree that lying on your back in a hospital bed isn't always the right position, but that's also why hospital births are rarely "lie on your back in a hospital bed". During my experience (and this was almost 14 years ago), I was encouraged to walk, to use the birthing ball, to hop in the birthing tub, and to give birth on all fours. I actually ended up lying on my back in the hospital bed for the last hour or so, but mostly because that was the position I found most comfortable.

A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.”

The kids can only be disciplined as far as the husband allows it. It really is a one way relationship. Ive known women in these relationships that had to sneak away to get out of them. Its not easy to be a simpleton whose existence is a pure mistake of causality, but that doesn't give you right to police someone deemed bad by your pathology infused mind.

To address what he mentioned about birth and natural births, there have been more recent critiques of the technological model of birth which is especially prevalent in the US - for example the US has a much higher rate of C sections than other similarly developed countries and the highest maternal mortality rate for black women of any developed country. I found this article that discusses the issue: www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2012/03/the-most-scientific-birth-is-often-the-least-technological-birth/254420/ He was kind of, almost, there but missed the mark.
Also, Phyllis Schlafly was a pretty well-known anti-feminist and she led a movement in the 70s to stop the Equal Rights Amendment in the US, and we still to this day have not gotten ERA passed. Her whole argument was that women hold a "privileged" place in society because their husbands provide for them and feminists need to "Stop Taking Our Privileges". Basically her campaign only applied rich, cis, white women, but unfortunately, it worked.

I work in a place where one of our models in the leaflet we had designed was wearing a t-shirt that said 'Women are more than muses.' We then received a complaint from a guy over the phone who wanted to know when we had started promoting sexism. I was so confused and he had to explain that he felt the T-Shirt was anti-men and sexist towards men. I was like 'It literally doesn't even say anything about men?!' Like these guys say feminists are overly sensitive, but the absolute bollocks of that complaint was astounding. Like how much time do you have on your hands to log a formal complaint about this bullshit?

    • @jules2291

Yeah I think that's the reason the mgtow guys haven't been able to really get their point across - making sure that radical feminism doesn't make things worse for men , like in family courts . They're too aggressive and lash out - sending the female judge rape threats before a case really isn't going to improve things for you - not to mention their views on things like the above mentioned topic . Some of them get radicalised quickly , start having questionable thoughts on sexism and go around advertising they'd like for women's rights to go back to medieval era level - and due to this their public image is in ruins and the actually good mgtow guys who just want to be left alone are also just as hated as the radicalised ones . It's kind of like how third wave feminism started going wrong and suddenly there was a wave of men hating - like , did they really have to take the worst parts of feminism as inspiration for mgtow ?

As an Indian woman whose father is very much this kind of man... I'm so sick and tired and hurt by it all. My own father treats me like a possession. He justifies it as protectiveness and love, but it's actually possesiveness and hatred of women. After struggling with my mental health and being depressed from childhood, not having the sense of self to function, socialize, become financially independent... I did the years of therapy, and am just beginning to form a career. My father STILL tries to control me. How I behave, what I wear.. even trying to keep me from forming normal relationships outside the family. Yesterday, he said, knowing my financial dependency bothers me deeply, that "nobody is tying you to this house". Knowing I have no choice. Coercive control. It makes me sick. I'm mourning today, and recovering emotionally and spiritually. This man is not a "yogi". He doesn't consider woman human. BUT PEOPLE LIKE THIS ARE REAL. Channels like yours are so NEEDED. When I am drained and bereft of all hope, videos like this one and women like you give me strength. My family is financially stable and as educated as you please, but it's the culture. THE CULTURE IS POISON. I was raised to see myself as a posession, and a burden at that. This kind of content may seem laughable... and I myself have brushed off so many people like this as extremists! But they're NOT. Not in India. Not anywhere.

So if single child free women are the happiest.. then why are single child free women making countless articles since the early 90’s talking about, “where have all the good man gone?” Or “I’ve ran out of tinder matches!” Women are social creatures that cannot be alone. That’s why the person down below said, “ok cat lady.” Find any single women past the age of 28 and you’ll find if she didn’t have a man, she has a dog, a cat, a fish, or is involved with some sort of group activity to keep her from being isolated and occupied. If women can be alone, (which is a side argument) name 3 female philosophers or existentialists that practice isolation or discipline such as nuns or monks do...

I studied a course in affective neuroscience in undergrad and did a module on pair bonding (absolutely did NOT expect it to ever come up and had no idea antifeminist evangelicals were employing it ?? lmao) and there is a huge misunderstanding generally with how these hormones (oxytocin and dopamine) work in the brain. There has been some speculation after studies done on prairie voles that initial sexual/romantic encounters can release DA from specific DA receptors that subsequently do not open again in other bonding experiences. The evolutionary strategy being monogamous or one in which the animals rely on one mate's resources at a given time. However, there is very little evidence that this occurs exactly in humans and that humans are monogamous, to begin with. Surely many societies have deemed it to be a norm but biologically speaking I have yet to see a human study that indicates we operate strictly in this manner. It is an interesting idea that something like pair-bonding could explain phenomena such as first love/first heartbreak but we would have to consider the role of the prefrontal cortex's development intersecting with experiences/memories in the limbic system to understand experience-dependent plasticity more fully. Bottom line: we are not prairie voles and we can do what we like.
To quote my professor: "folks these are evolutionary strategies. I will not tolerate any slut-shaming of the voles"
phew anyway, don't know where that came from great video x
