Interesting concept, original. Be interesting to hear "the rest of the story". I do agree with other comments that a little more attention to the science of a space battle would make it more believable.
Gravity does travel through space because if it did not, solar systems would not exist and nor would orbits, but yes, if you have a way to generate gravity then you could do something like that and get a sound like affect out of it. The biggest problem would be keeping your own ship/ Friendly's out of harm and power/range. Also gravitational and magnetic forces if this powerful and used like this would be devastating to any ship that does not have a similar ability so they can counter it. Yes, generating a controled and targeted "black hole" would basically shred everything.
Fast then light travel? Anyone? Ok I got this one…so FTL steps out of science fiction and into science fantasy. There are very very few things that can travel near that rate.
Well the empire would never have diverted their 10000 ship fleet to look for one lone human one. He would have sent off a squadron maybe 10-20 ships at the most to go look for it and the fleet commander would have tuned his mind to bigger fish other new civilizations likely out on the galactic rim his emperor wanted conquered.
Love this..thank u!

10,001 vs 1, 10,000 down 1 left to spread the news.
Sounds do not reverberate through space.
😂 nice!
Neither does gravitational waves but the chirp is equivalent to the amplitude and frequency you can equivalent what it sounds like

Ummmm, just a single paragraph that keeps repeating itself......

The repetition is nearly unbearable. There is no motivational reason for any of the actions.
