I'm a newbie and discovered this channel last night. I tried this on a small portion of my 4c/d hair. Took out the foil today. YASSS! It worked💃😍👏👍👊 this is far the best method for my type of hair I found on you tube. I used products I already had. Design curl enhancer mousse and mizani serum. I used a little which my hair didn't have the sheen. I have olive, avocado and coconut oil. One of these I will try. Thank you so...much for this video. Girls with my type of hair can't do some styles on You tube. Its a KEEPER! 💋

Coilygrayn FL I love that news and so happy its working for you! I love how perm rod sets come out on other people but I never seem to get it right when I use them. Aluminum gave me an easier way to get the same results. I need to try mizani products, they have great reviews. You just reminded me that I need to continue looking for them. Thank you so much for sharing your results with me! This makes it worthwhile 😊😊😚

@@NaturallyTasha That's great! I have 2 questions and hope you can answer both.
      1. Did you ever fluff it out any bigger and how did it look?
      2. How were you maintaining at night and in the morning?
Would love if you can revisit this technique, and if possible, followed with a 7 day series how you took care of it, or styled it, fluffed it up etc as an idea? A lot of natural struggle to achieve styles but never see it maintained fully etc for a few days or a full week.
Thank you for sharing. Have a productive day!

@@christine1962ful,thats a great idea about revisiting the style. Come to think of it, I get lots of questions about maintaining it. I will do that soon. Thank you for the idea.
      1. I did fluff it out and it became a big curly afro. I got lots of compliments for it so I think it looked great.
      2. In the morning I would wet my hands and run my fingers through the curls. I found it worked better when I did it with my head facing down. Spraying a little water and doing the same also works. If I needed to shape it more I picked the hair with an afro comb at the roots ☺
