Whoever gifted you Glaive Prime, it's over now. This weapon could and will carry you through every content you'll encounter in the next 200h. There is very few this weapon can't oneshot and it power creeps way too hard for anyone new to the game imho. This weapon oneshots lvl300 Steel Path enemies, and there is little to no reason to ever swap it, if you're just looking for a room clearing AoE weapon.
I'd also consider letting late game players only join your squad in the future if they play like support or buff frames that do not interfere with your pace, playstyle or power too much. Warframe is borderline trivial if you have all the juicy stuff and we all know that. And we all have seen that 100's of times.
The way of a new player and all the struggle that comes with it is what's truely entertaining to watch!

100% agree. It's so disappointing to see all the legendary ranks flexing their overpowered loadouts and insisting on carrying him through everything. They either don't realize or don't care that they are harming, if not destroying his first time experience of many of these systems.
I went to Tennocon last year. It was their first live one in front of an audience since 2019, after covid made most things in studio. It was an awesome vibe, I loved the flights out, I went by myself. It felt like a pilgrimage. Seeing all the community team was awesome. Rebecca almost broke down in tears several times on stage.
New Player experience for Eidolons is:
1. Cetus people telling you - dont go to the Plains at night. Because its dangerous.
2. If you go on free roam you can see vomvalists - floating-head sentients, that have 2 phases: corporeal one, that you can destroy, and energy one - that you cant, because you need void type damage to do it, and on early game you dont have it.
3. Also you can see - that during the night grineer bases aquire Lures - robots, that sound like Eidolons, and attract vomvalists - which latch energy tendrils to lures. If you kill vovmalist corporeal form this time, then lure will devour energy form of it - totally destroing vomvalist thus charging the lure.
4. If you destroy lure, then hack it Lure follows you. It has yellow marker on it - lure not charged. On this stage lure can protect you from vomvalists.
5. After lure devor 3 vomvalists - it become blue - lure charged.
It is the mechanic later used for Eidolon hunts, charged lure can prevent Eidolon from escaping after you destroy one of its synovias (knees and elbows junctions).
6. All of it is told to you by Onko in-mission transmissions, when you get an Eidolon hunt Bounty from Konzu. Its crucial to listen to Onko to understand what to do with Eidolons from ingame source.
7. Also you can meet the Eidolon and learn smth about them during the early game Quest Saya's Vigil - Gara Side Quest.
Man, I wish I didn't have to work graveyard and could offer to help my dude understand how certain game modes work. Trying to coast through an Eidolon hunt for the first time with three people that range from inexperienced to someone frantically doing most of the work while chat attempts to explain the systems at a delay is brutal when I could explain it all vocally in like 3 sentences lmao.
Kela Da Thaym also drops a bunch of unique mods you might wanna get your hands on. One of them is for the Sobek shotgun that causes enemies you kill with it to explode, and it can cause chain reactions. In Saryns hands, the explosion can also inherit the toxin damage from her toxin lash, making the chaining significantly more likely to occur
4:48:00 Minigames / game modes, maybe a story campaign, extra features like ball cam, slow motion cam or something, maybe even fantasy or otherweise unrealistic elements to play around with. New technology that enhances the mechanics of the game or the enemy AI
Another advice about quality of life in Warframe: there is a Gear Wheel, that binded to the key. It is a spiral without end, so we can use indefinite quantity of gear. But some gear is used more often than other. So we have first 12 (!) slots, which can be bound to keyboard keys to much faster use. For example instead of activating Archwing summon through gear wheel, that is very slow, key binded function works almost instantly.
I wish he would stop letting late game players carry him, it's not entertaining to watch imo. But to each their own

I don't want to tell you how to play, but you should consider playing the game the way it was intended to be played.
Hey LD, i believe warframe's balancing is based on squad disruption and players playing it. Basically it comes down to if the skill/thing thats OP takes the fun out of the squad by filling to many roles or making the rest feel useless + also being used played a lot, DE usually nerfs things. It comes down to, if more players play it and it disrupts squads then more squads have a bad time. So in a way OP is fine when its not being abused by everyone.
As someone who comes from a part of Europe where average pay check is 300e/month and no regional pricings the prices push is just gona make me pirate more and more , unless its something i rly rly want and can get it on sale
I have problem with that Scarlett Johansson situation. Not bc its AI but bc they dont use her voice. They used woman that sounds similiar. Scarlet cannot have power over some random girl that sounds like her. If this was kinda unfair marketing? Yes. But its fully legal. Bc i'm guessing woman that give them her voice give them permission to use it.

You must understand, in warframe late game players are not 5x or 10x more powerful then you. They are 1000x more powerful.

Amp leveling can be done in 2 ways - actively killing enemies with it in operator form - that pain in the ass in the start. Or passively - then other people in the team killing for you. Quickest way is to play Sanctuary onslaught and switching to operator form - NOT playing it with warframe!

The one thing I absolutely hated about Destiny 2, and that's what made me quit and never play again, is that there is no matchmaking for dungeons, at least the ones I tried to do, and no, I'm not going to use a fucking Discord to look for a group, or use chat on a game like that, it totally should have an automatic matchmaking, without that, the game is just not worth playing for me.

3:37:00 I'm so frustrated with the people in his squad always rushing ahead and forcing him into mechanics and systems that he isn't ready for. Let him explore the game at his own pace, ffs. You are overwhelming him, intimidating him, giving him a bad impression of the game because he feels completely useless in his group, has and gains no understanding or appreciation of what is going on, and gets the impression that the game isn't explaining things to him. As a new player you are supposed to try and fail plenty of times until you get a decent understanding of the dynamics of the fight. Finally managing to take down your first eidolon should be a celebratory experience, not this frustated mess of feelings that he is experiencing. So disappointing how people are showing absolutely zero empathy or patience.

Warframe does have some annoying monetization, but there is zero power that you can buy that you cannot achieve in a realistic timeframe on your own. The farming and completion of your loadouts is also central to the gameplay loop of the game, so purchasing all kinds of stuff is actually taking content away from yourself. The most powerful S-tier weapons are quite easily accessible if you go through the game regularly, it's a very fringe amount of weapons and frames that do take a frustratingly long time to earn, depending on your luck and how much you are enjoying the given activity.
What I will say though is that the new player experience does not give the amount of insight you need to properly assess the ethicalness of the monetization. As a new player you are very starved for resources and pushed to the marketplace, also being incentivized to make poor purchasing decisions by your lack of understanding of the game. I agree with LD that this should be improved
