I love this, having worked for Brendan Healy who covered the WAters of Tyne, and Jimmy Nail, these songs are so lovely and so discriptive that it transports you to the North East and the Tyne.💌
Watched bob play at Great Yarmouth maritime festival a couple years ago,I know this is about the north east but it brought back memories of my old grandad and our fishing boats and our old river, and it brought tears to my eye,the man is a genius 😭❤️
I love Bob. I'm here to put together some songs for a year 4 english scheme of work. We are looking at Northumbrian folk tales and I thought some music to go with it would be amazing. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear watching this
Me Dad worked all his life at Parsons. Been gone since 1989 and me Mam in 1981. Radio Luxemburg on Rediffusion in the 1950s and 60s trying to hear the top 20. Eeh I'm old now. Nice
13 years ago, still love these, and where are we all? 13 years of tories, not a great thing for most of us
can't watch this without dissolving in tears. What a talent, Bob Fox.
Top man - going to see him with the Pitmen Poets in in Ilkley next week. Can't wait!
That’s great. Loved it. I’m a Dubliner that adores Newcastle. God bless you.
Brilliant, just brilliant, I am proud to say that I know this bloke & he is a wonderful person.
Epic song and performer, what a heritage we all have, geordies forever.
From a Liffey boy to a Tynesider, absolute respect and pure love. I had to listen to it over and over. Absolute passion. Way aye man.

What a voice! Totally devoted to its subject. Remarkable people.
Beautiful medley. The tunes work well together. His powerful voice can stand up to the robust picking. Just loved it. He really casts a spell.
Beautiful ❤️ thank you xx
oh to be with Jimmy Nail when he first heard Bob Fox's amazing version of his great song.
Two beautiful songs with tremendously important historical lyrics...I LOVE them! Thank you Bob Fox! x
Beautiful!!!❤
Vin Garbutt will always be my favourite singer/songwriter in the folk/traditional genre, but Bob Fox is certainly a talented bloke.
Reminds me of the steel works closing where my old man worked in.
The North remembers
I just love this! 🎶
I think I like his version even better than Jimmy Nails'. Two thumbs up.
It's a great version, of both songs. Bob is fantastic
Gets yi right in the middle of the chest - absolutely tremendous Bob.
