My personal favourite is the noise my rearshock got after a shock service. I literally sounded like a birdsnest, and it cost another 300usd to fix :( Luckily the bikeshop agreed to split the bill.

Sorry, but if the lockout stops working, your shock needs a service.. Won't be long before other functions start to not work and possibly leading to internal damage...
You are correct in your assertion Brian. Some people choose to ignore it because they do not use the functionality of the lockout itself. This is something we will be discussing in next week's maintenance issues video. I do appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave your feedback. Neither is taken for granted.
@@GetOutArizona I will admit, I am also one of those people who doesn't use the lockout.. Sometimes I feel the bike even climbs worse with a lockout on.. But, don't ignore symptoms of a bigger problem..

Once people find out you work in a bike shop, thats the first thing they say is, I have a squeak I can't find, I tell them, the squeak is coming from your wallet, cuz' you're too cheap to take it to a bike shop. ;) !!
