I was inspired by your previous okra video and started 2 of the jambalaya okra plants in my Mufga 18 pod system. I just got my first flower blooming yesterday so I am excited to see how it does.
How are you cooking the okra? We always found if you let the pods get too big, they got tough, however that only effected cooking them a few ways. My grandmother taught me for southern fried okra and pickled okra you wanted something around 3" or less. For stewed or jambalaya you could let them get larger but when they got over 5" it was best to use them as animal feed.
