Yeah I only wanted switch tracks so that I can put trains that aren’t required into "stand-by" and if more people are visiting I would just put more trains into service but the ones that aren’t used can be seen standing on a little part of track next to the coasters end brake and so I can also change the amount of trains really nice while the coaster is opened
no thunderstorms or snow I wish they could have added those because that's how seasons work it thunderstorms in the spring summer and fall and in the winter it snows
Yay! I called you out in my video as someone who will definately have looked at this stuff better than me, glad I wasn't wrong! So with the switch track, there's no way to 'continue' the track ahead of the switch? I was hoping we could have the coaster go forward over a few elements before rolling back into the switch
Haha thank you so much! Really appreciate the support:) Yeah it only operates in this format currently, hopefully more options will be added with the more thrilling coaster models 😁
I'm just stoked that the coasters are so smooth now, they legit look like NL2 creations not planet coaster coasters. I'm so hyped to try out the classic B&M Invert and make some sick terrain in seconds.
I hope the switch tracks can be banked. Definitely agree with the swing launch mechanism and adding this elements to other coaster types. And we need rmc raptor too (and intamin single rails)
Im hoping for the possibility of multi platform stations and maybe storage stations for additional trains since we have switch tracks to add more realism~
I hope they have an advanced mode for the switch tracks where the player can set the times a train pass through it before it switches or maybe set it by time interval or even triggers on the track, as it seems to be impossible at the moment to make something like the modern Blitz coasters. Also as others have mentioned, it would’ve been a much better to be able edit the entry/exit
Yay for neat moving track pieces because that means there is hope, but boo that they don't allow you to do multi-station loading etc merging into one lift hill.
So is there transfer tracks to load/unload an extra coaster train or not? im confused I thought switch tracks meant that and alot of other people thought that too
Not yet. Switch tracks are to change the coasters direction or move the train onto a different part of the layout. You can see in my gameplay. They don't remove trains from the circuit like unloading
When PlanCo 2 comes out you should make an Asian style theme park. (The tilt coaster inspired me) with some of those super intense coasters you seen in Japan, some really unique coasters like in China and maybe even the North Korean coaster for funnies
I really hope those trick track tracks are on other roller coasters cuz it would be really fun to have a launch coaster have a trick track at the top of its peak kind of like Mr freeze but have a trick check at the top 😂😂😂.
I only like the switch tracks, do u think they would add an station or osmething so u can have trains in a station (switch track/coaster barn) and one going thru on the ride? Kinda like nolimits2..
These coasters look awesome! I can’t wait to test out the Uncharted style multi-dimensional coaster. It’s gonna be very interesting making a dark ride like coaster with controlled spinning. Overall, I think this game is shaping up to be the best theme park builder of all time. It has everything I wanted and more. Definitely a welcome surprise having all these new special track elements.
No it won't be, its a compeltely seperate game :) Not that I know of yet, although they did have a vertical lift on the new log flume so maybe the element could be ported over to other rides :)
Do we know yet if smoothing after building affects the heartline? Pc1 squished the elements almost flat, so I’m desperate to know if this is something that’s been updated with the new smoothing tool🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Not big on 10 vintage rides being locked behind a $15 deluxe edition. I feel like it should be scenery or something... not rides? This is great to see though, not only switch tracks but drop too? Good stuff. How is this game in "alpha" but releasing in a month?
I do think some scenary included in this pack would be nice. They will have wanted to have made a polished alpha for us to play with that ran well, latest version of the game would have been way ahead of this :)
idk why they only put switch tracks on family coasters. no intamin blitz, no switch track on a mack rides coaster. kinda bad. they better add before launch or a dlc 1-3 months after launch
Have to say I’m disappointed that all these track elements aren’t more customizable, i was hoping for custom entry/exits and sizeable switch tracks but it seems very constrained in terms of what we can do with these
It's only the alpha at the moment, plus there is the potential for these to evolve in the future and have more variations. Where they are now is an excellent starting point! :)
@@Gliese710_it most likely is. I don’t think they’re still in this phase. Even if we don’t get Intamin Multi-Launch type coasters they’ll probably be in a dlc.
1:56 the tiny bounce the track does when it lines up with the other piece is an amazing level of detail!
Yeah it's really great to see :)
Very cool indeed, could be an idea to make it look like its going through the flooring (like in one of the trailers)
really hope we get these switch tracks on more coaster models
I hope so too
Yes that would be awesome! :)
I hope they surprise us with an intamin blitz at launch. Like, the switch track is cool and all, but I know we all really want a swing launch
I hope they give us the ability to get a rollback onto a switch track, maybe controlled by triggers like scenery items.
Yeah that would be awesome, might get that with an Intamin blitz model :)
Yay! I called you out in my video as someone who will definately have looked at this stuff better than me, glad I wasn't wrong!

@@Geekism I think Frontier will add it in a DLC
Haha thank you so much! Really appreciate the support:)

Hello you!
I'm just stoked that the coasters are so smooth now, they legit look like NL2 creations not planet coaster coasters. I'm so hyped to try out the classic B&M Invert and make some sick terrain in seconds.
I know it's amazing! I can't wait to play more :)
Tilt tracks as well? Nice
Yeah it's awesome! :)
OH sweet stuff! You found some unique things!
Yeah, it was so fun! :)
Thanks for the tutorial!
Hope it helped with the new coaster features :)
I hope the switch tracks can be banked. Definitely agree with the swing launch mechanism and adding this elements to other coaster types. And we need rmc raptor too (and intamin single rails)
I think we will get another switch track type if we gen an Intamin blitz that will do that. The single rails will be great! :)
Im hoping for the possibility of multi platform stations and maybe storage stations for additional trains since we have switch tracks to add more realism~
This would probably be really hard to implament but interesting if they could figure it out :)
We can make actual versions of Expedition Everest now… THATS AWESOME
Yeah, it's so cool :)
That would be awesome, I think the switch tracks will work differently for the blitz model anyway :)
Frontier, please put a e&f miler kiddie coaster in planet coaster.
That would be great! :)
Is there a way to spike and then do the switch track? Like on hagrids
I don't think so, but I hope this gets added :)
Yay for neat moving track pieces because that means there is hope, but boo that they don't allow you to do multi-station loading etc merging into one lift hill.
This is only the alpha, more features could be added like this before launch :)

I want this game right now! I cannot wait!
Same! Can't wait :)
im begining to love this content so much! ( im really exited fore the swithtrack
Thanks! Loads more PlanCo 2 content on the way very soon :)
yeah !!! thank you for the video, i m pre-order 😁
Thats great! Me too :)
When PlanCo 2 comes out you should make an Asian style theme park. (The tilt coaster inspired me) with some of those super intense coasters you seen in Japan, some really unique coasters like in China and maybe even the North Korean coaster for funnies
I'll definitely be using this coaster type when I have the game :)

Yeah that would be fun! :)
Curious if the switchtracks will only have a brake/reverse launch or if there's an option to make something like toutaris
I think this will probably be added with the blitz model :)
I only like the switch tracks, do u think they would add an station or osmething so u can have trains in a station (switch track/coaster barn) and one going thru on the ride? Kinda like nolimits2..
The other types of switch tracks I hope will be added with the Intamin blitz model :)
@@CorvusCoasters okay. I just would get planet coaster 2 due to it having switch tracks (which i hope also have transfer tracks) for realism
It would also be cool if there was a control panel with manual blocks (like nolimits2)
These coasters look awesome! I can’t wait to test out the Uncharted style multi-dimensional coaster. It’s gonna be very interesting making a dark ride like coaster with controlled spinning. That's coaster type looks so cool, I'm sure we will see some very surprising coaster with it :)
The Drop Track should also be raisable. I'd love to have lifts like Alpenblitz, Dragon coaster at Legoland Günzburg, etc.
The drop track does seem to be one set height, but we will have to see after the games launch if this changes :)
Yes very nice!
Thanks! :)
Do we know if PC1 parks will be compatible with PC2?
Also, have they added vertical lift hills a la Cobra’s Curse too?
No it won't be, its a compeltely seperate game :)
Not that I know of yet, although they did have a vertical lift on the new log flume so maybe the element could be ported over to other rides :)
Not related but i hope they make the smaller european dive coaster trains! I think they have six across instead of eight!
Yeah I wish we had these too :)
WE NEED SWEING LAUNCHES and the ability to create shuttle coasters of multiple types
Both of these would be really fun :)
Do we know yet if smoothing after building affects the heartline? Pc1 squished the elements almost flat, so I’m desperate to know if this is something that’s been updated with the new smoothing tool🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I didn't test this enough but it does look to keep shaping pretty well :)
@@CorvusCoasters can’t wait to see you and the other creators really getting your teeth into it and testing the limits👌🏻
Are you able to change the height of the drop track so it drops further?
I don't think so, but I never tried this :)
Hopefully they add the new Donkey Kong ride system eventually
That would be awesome! :)
yay!
So.. the height of the drop track isn't adjustable... Correct?
I don't think so, but I never tested this :)
4:17 Intamin what coaster aha
Yeah the multiverse coaster name was a strange choice haha :)
Is it also possible to enter the drop track backwards?
I'd assume so yeah, if you have some element to make the train backwards before :)
When are these going to be added I have it on ps5 and it’s the same as the first except the water slides and pools
These features are all already in Planet Coaster 2 on all platforms :)
What coasters have these because I’ve gone through all coasters and none have a switch tracks or a tilt track
The Outamax Multiverse coaters :)
There are none on the ps5 game
You mean PlanCo 1 or 2? Because they're definitely in PlanCo 2 I've seen ps5 users making them

is there motion blur on rides now?
Looks like it. Depth of field was on by default also, which I disabled because I don't like it. Maybe you can disable this also :)
I kinda wasted to scream when i saw the thumbnail
I did when I first placed the drop track piece haha :)
I watched NerdChacho's video and he said you can't build backwards on rollercoasters. Is that true?
I never actually tried this, so I don't know :)
I don't want this...
*I NEED THIS*
Haha 🤣
Kommt das wirklich in Planet Coaster 2
Ja
Yes! :)
idk why they only put switch tracks on family coasters. no intamin blitz, no switch track on a mack rides coaster. kinda bad. they better add before launch or a dlc 1-3 months after launch
We don't have this coaster model yet so it might get shown off later! There is more to come with this game, we've only seen the alpha so far :)
Hey Corvus! Never been first ever!
Awesome thanks! :)
@CorvusCoasters the coasters also look so smooth im hyped for planco 2!
Have to say I’m disappointed that all these track elements aren’t more customizable, i was hoping for custom entry/exits and sizeable switch tracks but it seems very constrained in terms of what we can do with these
Either way it’s still exciting to see them in the game, also, the customizability is realistic to the real life counterparts.
Be aware this is still a pre-alpha build of the game as well. It is still possible this will be implemented.
It's only the alpha at the moment, plus there is the potential for these to evolve in the future and have more variations. Where they are now is an excellent starting point! :)
still no transfer tracks and real switch tracks is very disappointing considering how much time they had to make this game
This game ain't even finished yet and they are working very hard on it you couldn't even code it
@@Tomcat839 yeah you right at least we got what we have now 😭😭😭
There’s less than 2 months until release, they better be grinding super hard in those 2 months, or this alpha is older than where they are now.
We've only seen them used on one coaster type and this is still the alpha. Still more to come soon I'm sure :)
