Dayum... really do wonder if this can rekindle that Theme Park World nostalgia I got :P Needs to be silly enough to be fun but also actually feel like you manage a park and that you profit when building it well so you can earn the money for better and better attractions
Wish they would do a crossover with their planet zoo and Jurassic park games. I guess a planet zoo and Jurassic world evolution would be same thing in ways but dinosaurs and coasters sounds fun. There were some basic rides in operation genesis.
If your a console player, I urge you not to get this game until the reviews are out ! Because there is "no" footage of this game being played on PS5, Xbox, none, nothing. We all know that a PC is a completely different animal to a console. The point is, if it isn't obvious already? What are they hiding?
While I'd like to be excited for this long-awaited sequel, so much of it feels rushed, and it worries me. The developers also ignore feedback, questions, or concerns from fans of the first game, and that's pretty disappointing. I really wish I was sincerely hyped for this games, but I feel like they should've pushed it for a Summer 2025 release.
Feels rushed how exactly? They've hit a pretty significant amount of player requests from the 1st game. What features in your mind were you wishing for that they missed?
ive bought the original with some dlcs but in the end never played it super much. mostly the fault of games with vanishing content though (mmos, gachas). Just a minute into the review so far the 2nd game looks pretty much the same. i wonder what will actually justify buying this. one thing i know that is a huge pain in both planet coaster and planet zoo, is pathing. if that is still annoying to work with, im defo not buying a sequel. Also I hope its optimized well. Cause im pretty sure the first one has some issues with lag and such once your park gets a bit bigger. ill check the rest of the video tomorrow. i really need some sleep.
The menus seem like the same from PC1. I kind of wished they simplified them but alas, it isn't easy when it comes to something that has a lot of moving parts to handle so I can't blame them for the lack of UI decluttering- it would just end up being menu nesting all the way down and that's worse. Otherwise, the game looks great and I'll def buy it once I have the chance too
This game does have some issues I noticed, like crashing issues, so hopefully they fix that, but expect that from a new game, I would personally wait a few months before getting this game as well till a lot of the issues are gone, I would rather play the original planet coaster till these bugs are fixed
As a game, theme parks are not something that interests me but I love seeing folks use the sandbox mode and seeing what they can do with the tools. Cheers Karak. Also, Karakland is an invalid name?
DO NOT BUIY: Auf keinen Fall kaufen. Keine Kaufempfehlung. PS Store stattet nicht zurück nach Download.
Your review makes me want to play the game, but my brain is telling me that I just put another $10 into Planet Zoo and that I should probably finish at least 1 full zoo before PZ2 comes out.
I've never played planet coaster, but I have planet zoo and i am really interested in getting this game. I am just wondering if the game builds and works the same since it took me a long time to properly learn how to do things in planet zoo and if its similar i should be fine but if its really different then idk how well i would do.
I have seen a lot of the reviews on Steam and it confuses me as I was speaking with a friend who plays it, about Planet Coaster 2, and he says while it has issues it's still a lot of fun to play, and you have to figure given what Frontier did with the first Planet Coaster that there will be regular fixes and free updates along with the DLC which will give it longevity and also (you'd hope) resolve any underlying issues the game has.
I already own Planet Coaster. Pools is not enough for me to buy the game a second time. Should have been a DLC, but then Frontier will now have a whole new season of DLCs for the next couple years on stuff you already own for Planco 1. 'Never Touch' for me.
I'm looking forward to this. Going to play on Series X. Looking forward to being lazy on my couch. And excited for your Dragon Age review. So many differing opinions, some reviews seem like shills, while others are blasting the game before it even came out and trashing it for "wokeness". I don''t care as long as the gameplay is good and the story is good.

Didn’t even know they were making a second one. Just saw it on an upcoming games list of 2024. Might have to pick it up.
Solid review as always! Thanks, Karak! God bless and stay safe!
The knowledge that most of the content will be upcoming DLC puts me off the whole thing. I will grab it in 5 years at 75% off in a bundle.
Looks like a ton of fun, good in depth analysis, as always.
This game feel like a reboot instead of a sequel. A chance to resell recycled content as dlc from the 1st
I got so hyped up listening to you talk about managing the employees schedules and my girlfrend looked at me like i was a psychopath 😂
I LOVE YOUR REVIEW! Had me rolling :] Thank you!
I remember playing planet coaster 1 and seeing there are like 5000 options for trees and i was like yep... imma head out.
While I’m sure it’s a delight for many, the amount of customization expected of the player in the first game was quite overwhelming
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Yes, great review. Just tried to fire up City Sky Lines 2 its till broken. Uninstalled - and will be buying this !
Great review thanks!
Honestly, the only games like this I ever enjoyed were the two Thrillville games on PSP. I might try this someday on sale.
Hope everything is okay bud, been looking out for your dragon age review
Thanks! Doing great

Great review as always. My wife’s excited for me to buy her this!
Man, I love games that are based on true stories. Can't wait for this one! (Also, Taiga is not tropical - think Canada or Siberia)
ive bought the original with some dlcs but in the end never played it super much. mostly the fault of games with vanishing content though (mmos, gachas).
Also, Karakland is an invalid name?
nice. waiting for YOUR Veilguard review man
Came to say exactly that :D
Didn't get it for review. Trying to squeeze in time but its tough
DO NOT BUIY: Auf keinen Fall kaufen.
Keine Kaufempfehlung. PS Store stattet nicht zurück nach Download.
Your review makes me want to play the game, but my brain is telling me that I just put another $10 into Planet Zoo and that I should probably finish at least 1 full zoo before PZ2 comes out.
you guys go ahead... I'll be waiting for the game+dlc bundle of the first. been a looooong wait. hee hee!
really excited for this one
They removed the snow maps, that's a real bummer...
Don't worry, they'll sell it back later.
Definitely getting this later when it’s on sale.
I've never played planet coaster, but I have planet zoo and i am really interested in getting this game. I am just wondering if the game builds and works the same since it took me a long time to properly learn how to do things in planet zoo and if its similar i should be fine but if its really different then idk how well i would do.
I'm guessing so, as Planet Coaster 1 came out before Planet Zoo, and that Planet Zoo was built on the same, but modified game engine.
Never played PC1 but I played RCT3 a lot, playing career mode. How’s this game compared to RCT3?
I have seen a lot of the reviews on Steam and it confuses me as I was speaking with a friend who plays it, about Planet Coaster 2, and he says while it has issues it's still a lot of fun to play, and you have to figure given what Frontier did with the first Planet Coaster that there will be regular fixes and free updates along with the DLC which will give it longevity and also (you'd hope) resolve any underlying issues the game has.
Is it any good for someone who loves the sim and management of rct and does not give a hoot about making things pretty?
So hyped for this
U need to create work zones so your employees work more efficiently but it looks like it more complicated than planet coaster 1 and planet zoo
I already own Planet Coaster. Pools is not enough for me to buy the game a second time. Should have been a DLC, but then Frontier will now have a whole new season of DLCs for the next couple years on stuff you already own for Planco 1. 'Never Touch' for me.
Excellent job. Got me thinking about a game in a genre I tend to avoid 👍
Is their a disc version or just digital
Awesome review!!!
Great review.
The best review of this game out there. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love Planco but there's nothing in it that makes me want to buy it outside of a deal, so I'll wait
Such a violent review for a cozy relaxing game. Love it 🤣
I'm looking forward to this.
I want it, but way too many games in my recent backlog. I will pick up an ultimate edition down the road with the 90 dlc packs it will have.
Do you know if it's pro enhanced? Much love from UK 🇬🇧
I wonder why Desert biome isn't present in this one.
Because it's coming this winter for only 9.99$
