I just wanted to thank you for seeking out examples of a wide range of black men and not just black men who look more Caucasian. This is a real representation of African beauty standards with no bias or altior motives behind it. Really appreciate this video as a black man.
But I don’t think this video is enough to get rid of the yt supremacy when it comes to beauty standards in the west. I’m black and when I got immersed into the black pill, I realized how much of a pedestal white men are put on compared to coloured men (Asians, blacks, etc) where case studies were shown on the screen. The part that hurt me was when I heard someone say that an average white male has a wider dating pool than an ethnic male due to said ethnic male having “niche appeal”. And as an 18 year old male at the time, this hurt my self-esteem to the point where I developed a self-hating and white supremacist complex. I thought since so many people see yt people more attractive and more superior and it’s been that way for years (like the way the US treated black people and how First Nations were treated in Canadian residential schools), then that must be true. Also hearing about how some Asian women favour white men over Asian men reinforced this toxic notion. I also realized that the most attractive POC women usually get with white men (Like Zendaya, Zoe Kravitz, Zita Hanrot, Sophia Vengara, etc). Though they are exceptions (like Noemie Lenoir). As I stayed away from the black pill community, I stopped wishing that I was white as frequently compared to before where I would wish that I was every day or almost every day. Now as a 20 year old (nearly 21) I don’t feel as confident in myself and as proud of my race as I did before I dove into the black pill rabbit hole. The damage has already been done. Although, more videos like this that show the beauty of attractive POC people that don’t have Eurocentric features such as attractive Asian men (Cho Gue-sung for example), attractive Hispanic men and other races… then maybe this yt supremacy notion will die down or at least be suppressed.
@@KingDawg72 Black men have as much leverage as other ethnic groups. Austin Dunham and FitX are TH-camrs who show that men of color can also attract the creme of the crop of other women. I personally attracted every race of women during my high school and middle school, and I was shocked myself. The key is taking care of your appearance, building muscle, having social skills, confidence, assertiveness, and a cool chill personality. Avoid getting immersed in any extremist "pill" ideology, this tends to warp the brain with unrealistic standards. Go out and talk to women of all races. Last but not least, do not take what women say seriously, pay attention to their actions. God bless.

But even after leaving the black pill and agreeing with you, I still have a resentment for attractive yt people (especially attractive yt dudes since they’re considered the “Chads” or “Giga Chads”). Every time I see an attractive yt dude, I get slightly pissed or annoyed. I saw one three days ago when I was walking on the street. He looked like he was a teenager or at least in his early twenties and I immediately assumed that he probably lost his virginity at a young age and has a cute girlfriend. And I got annoyed because I didn’t have those two things happen to me. The black pill enlightened me on the world, but it fucked up my perception on modern yt people. I still respect them as human beings. After all, Spider-Man/Peter Parker happens to be white and he’s been my favourite superhero since childhood. He’s awesome, man. But it’s just not the same. I’m not sure if I want to be friends with white people after knowing how they’re universally seen as “the most attractive race on average”. @@Zamintsupremacy maybe my phrasing was inaccurate but I meant black men who are only considered handsome when measured up to western beauty standards (thin nose, thinner lips, lighter skin). Nothing wrong with men who look like this as these men are still black men and I've got relatively small lips compared to my father. Also, in East Africa there are many men with these traits too and they're indigenous to the region.
Never in my life have I seen a white person this non biased snd willing to do a breakdown on this level. Takes a lot of humility and love for gods creation ro so such a thorough breakdown of such a topic. Some might hate but we need more content like this in the world. I wish there was smth like this for black women, most of the facial aesthetics stuff is really centered around caucasians and thus only using that to analyse ppl of different races is difficult to do

This was an interesting analysis regarding black men. Just proves that facial symmetry, sharp jawlines, hunter eyes, darkened eyebrows, and toned bone structure are universally attractive traits. I have attracted women of all races including my own, and was surprised that my features were considered conventionally attractive. Thanks.
Beauty is programming. The reason Blondes with with blue eyes are considered the highest form of beauty is because of television and magazines programming the masses for decades. The black men in this video are considered good looking because they are the ones closest to white ideals, even when they are dark skinned. They have smaller lips and straighter noses than the average African American, so white people (and programmed blacks) consider them better looking. Proof of beauty being programmed is the recent trends towards women wanting fuller lips and bigger butts, which was previously considered ugly in the 1900s, but now it's seen as more attractive.

The biggest take-away I’ve received from the majority of Black looks-maxxing clips is to do whatever you can to drop to a low bodyfat, while maintaining an athletic physique. Incorporate resistance strength training, yet you don’t need to be bodybuilder jacked. I can’t speak for naturally skinny dudes, but if you’re bigger dude then dropping enough bodyfat to reveal a jawline helps tremendously. I’m as African as they come & it hasn’t stopped me from dating success
The fact that you are completely unbiased and not conditioned to think a certain way is extremely impressive 👏. I would to read a book on how you don't allow bias to affect your work. There's a university in America 🇺🇸 that found There's a 70% Bias in America towards Black Americans that effects thy health care industry, policing ect. They even stated in the study that Blacks are even bias towards themselves suffering some sort of self hatred issues.

I'm asian and have sunked nose, very unideal. Is that racist? Wider noses are considered not harmonious in general or would look better with a slimmer/caucasoid feature.

I’m part Korean and Italian, so I have no side. But the African American men in this video were too fine! Better examples should have been chosen for Caucasian men. Because there was no contest.

Models are chosen because they're tall and skinny enough to wear the smallest size of clothing for a runway....or they represent the target audience a brand is trying to sell to. Human races are like dog breeds; how do you compare the beauty of a Labrador to that of a German Shepard? There are general things that connect them, but the fact we simplify attraction down to one set of standards isn't maxxing at all. A labrador would look uglier trying to paint on german shephard spots, use weave to be as furry and perk ears up. Likewise, humans keep chasing the same look - whatever is popular / trendy, and don't look as well as they could or at all. Botox lips and fake eyelashes don't work on every face. Blonde straight weave or even straight hair doesn't flatter everyone, though popular. I love this video pointing out how standards will differ by race. I stopped wearing weave and following trends that were more euro-centric, becoming good looking by embracing my non-trendy features. It was day and night how dramatically my looks changed by adapting / tweaking trends to suit my race / face and body (fashion.) I can't rock cherry red lipstick and blonde hair; but I can rock apple red lipstick with a blonde ombre afro. One is not "more beautiful" than the other by default, and instead makes both looks stunning if it suits that person. A Germsn Shep will never have the unique beauty of a Labrador; likewise, our races will always have their unique aspects - and there is not (1) universal way to look.

I would love to see that too but I think it would be a little harder bc plastic surgery is kind of popular among alot of celebrities and "standard of beauty" is so specific and high they feel the need to alter it.😢
A lot of the people you are showing aren't African American. If your are talking about the original black American. The foundational black American some of those people are Caribbean and singer are African. You're mixing people in that are biracial too. That's a little too all over the place

Yeah I’m a mixed black dude and I asked a lot of black women what they think of him…most said he’s average but not super good looking which is funny because I asked white women (about half of the ones I asked) they think he’s hot. Beauty of truly in the eye of the beholder.
Technically focusing on africans is better than African Americans. Because someone who has no other history recent history beside in America is most likely mixed with white making it harder to discern what is a BLACK attractive features

Why are you referring to all the black men as African American and all the people of European ancestry as Caucasian? The first black model is British and also biracial as are other models you used as example of African Americans. They clearly have Afro/European features. Also, model Tyson Beckford has some Chinese heritage, hence the eyes.

Given the thumbnail people are going to assume. The more European facial features a black person has, the better looking he is. However 90% blacks be it from the United States or Africa actually typically look like the guy on the left of this video's thumbnail. And every culture has their own set rules of Beauty or their own beauty standards. Using widely accepted Euro-White American centric beauty standards for comparison doesn't do justice. In many Asian cultures a man who has a strong Giga-chad like jaw-line is considered ugly and people like that get taunted and ridiculed for having a jaw-line like that and get called hammer face or a log/wood face over there , and similary in many African(Black) cultures thin lips are considered ugly. So not sure how you're gonna justify your thesis/argument because it's impossible to do it unless you're doing it from your own people or society's perspective.
who decided that attractive facial features are owned by a specific group of race? for example that most dumb people use is small nose, east africans (somali, ethopian, eritrea etc) all are born with small noses and is a very monogamous ethnic group since its barely mixed with any other nationality

We used to have the same mixed system as other places with being 75%+ as blk and yt and anything less as mixed race until the one drop rule. I think symmetry is what makes a face attractive black or white oh and a strong jaw line to, example the thumbnail the guy on the left has an unsymmetrical face but the guy on the right has more symmetry which makes him more attractive to majority of people.
Nah it’s not very important, only major asymmetry has a significant impact on attractiveness. The difference between the thumbnail photos is primarily in facial harmony.

Great video pointing out the differences in attractiveness in races. I'm black(100% Nigerian) and I've noticed I attract more of women that like Korean and Kpop musicians

I even had one girl really obsessed with me and she's so so obsessed with BTS too,I guess I'm cute at my peak attractiveness. I'm as straight as you or more. Ratings are important regardless if you're gay or heterosexual. It's important to know where you stand on the totem pole. It's more so about you not other men.
As a blkwoman, I've always found whte men to be more physically attractive. I love their deep set multicolored eyes, narrow bridge & nostrils, strong brow, and jawline. Not to mention, their long torso, and runners legs. Also, I love their hairline and how the hair naturally falls into place. Call me what you want but I like my man's long pink toes!

As others have stated,this is the most fair assessment of physical attractiveness. So many studies just focus on how white someone looks. You nailed it.
Black men tend to have more spaced out eyes due to the width of the nose. But it is very attractive. Close set eyes have a more feminine look. Some White men have wide set eyes too like Henry Cavill and look very attractive too.
One woman's Chad is another woman's Urkel. It's too subjective. This is an attempt to look at statistics and determine what most people want in women or men. To be objective.

thank you for making this. i have always said on other facial rating videos that taking away points because of eye width and tilt for black men is wrong as those are just very common within the populations. like that you considered which measurements might be valid and which might not be so valid for this ethnic group
1. Most of those men weren't African American. You equated Black to African American without checking their ancestry. 2. You tend to only show men of any race in the top .1% when what's deemed attractive can go down well to the top 30% of men. 3. You don't show men that are short, men with feminine faces, or youthful baby faces. Twinks are a thing, so are short kings and they don't tend to have hyper masculine features.

I dont really like the title it sounds strange...also most are not african men the model you posted is half asian and the features you pointed out are not typical african features.. Africa has a wide range of beauty and I think ANYONE with a balanced or proportionate face is attractive. There are different types of noses eyes and face shapes. :) !
Minor gripe here, Tyson Beckford is famously NOT African American. He was a Jamaican, who like many Caribbean people had mixed origins, he was mixed with Chinese, which contributed heavily to his success as the first true male supermodel. Rome Flynn is also a clearly mixed race Latino. These things hampen do the research a bit IMO.

There is a stereotype for every race/ethnic group for a reason.
And those stereotypes often stem from a place of bias.

Beauty is programming. The reason Blondes with with blue eyes are considered the highest form of beauty is because of television and magazines programming the masses for decades. The black men in this video are considered good looking because they are the ones closest to white ideals, even when they are dark skinned. They have smaller lips and straighter noses than the average African American, so white people (and programmed blacks) consider them better looking. Proof of beauty being programmed is the recent trends towards women wanting fuller lips and bigger butts, which was previously considered ugly in the 1900s, but now it's seen as more attractive.

The biggest take-away I’ve received from the majority of Black looks-maxxing clips is to do whatever you can to drop to a low bodyfat, while maintaining an athletic physique. Incorporate resistance strength training, yet you don’t need to be bodybuilder jacked. I can’t speak for naturally skinny dudes, but if you’re bigger dude then dropping enough bodyfat to reveal a jawline helps tremendously. However 90% blacks be it from the United States or Africa actually typically look like the guy on the left of this video's thumbnail. And every culture has their own set rules of Beauty or their own beauty standards. Using widely accepted Euro-White American centric beauty standards for comparison doesn't do justice. I dont really like the title it sounds strange...also most are not african men the model you posted is half asian and the features you pointed out are not typical african features.. Africa has a wide range of beauty and I think ANYONE with a balanced or proportionate face is attractive. There are different types of noses eyes and face shapes. :) !

Minor gripe here, Tyson Beckford is famously NOT African American. He was a Jamaican, who like many Caribbean people had mixed origins, he was mixed with Chinese, which contributed heavily to his success as the first true male supermodel. Rome Flynn is also a clearly mixed race Latino. These things hampen do the research a bit IMO.
Do you think Black Americans are 100% African? caribbean and american blacks have pretty much the same genetic admixture so you don't really have a point.

African Americans have on average 15-24% European ancestry and is why they are distinguishable from native Africans to anybody with 2 working eyes.

Im like 15% Irish and 10% British, Then 40% Nigerian, 15% Ghanaian, 10% Mali, 5% Ethiopian, and a whole bunch of smaller West African ancestries.
