In that I will help you Anil bhai# 5 year experience in govt job cleared multiple times but didn't get clear final cutoff...now preparing for it sectors.
For those getting confused about the denominators, they are that way after taking LCM of the denominators prior to the calculation, eg. LCM(12,15) = 60 and then since 12 * 5 = 60, 15 * 4 = 60 we see, (5 + 4)/60. As for those who don't understand subtraction with 1, remember fractions range from 0 to 1, 0 being lowest and 1 being maximum. So if you subtract any fraction with 1, you get the remaining fraction. That's why if B worked for 23 days = 23/40 then the days B didn't work alone/remaining days = 1 - 23/40 = 17/40.
With all due respect mam, your work have made me understand the topics clearly...it was so clear that I doubt is this really the type of questions which exam will ask? If so why can't most people crack the first round? I don't mean to offend anyone, this is for personal knoledgle and enquiry
All of this is taught in 9-10th grade maths. Our indian education system is built in such a way that even if students know all this they forget it after their exams
Practice and competition makes the difference. You need to be in practice to solve even an easy problem in exam condition. Second, if you are slow in solving compared to others, you will get less marks.
Its because if you are in IT or CSE aptitude is simply trash and not required . Nobody wants or cares to study about it and only on-campus sbc's would ask those unfortunately. Most in IT CSE dont care or dont wanna do math , its not required and is exhausting
for people getting confused in Q.1 why reciprocal so , Work = (combined Rate of work) x Time Taken , here the Work is complete completion of work so (W=1) i.e. W = R x T => 1 = R x T , hence , T = 1/ R. (Time taken = 1/Combined Rate)

An exam was conducted and the following was analyzed. 4 men were able to check some exam papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly. What is the total number of hours taken by 2 men in 20 days to check double the number of exam papers?
This problem can be solved using the formulae No. of men * No. of days * No. of hours = Total Work In the first part of the problem, we are given that 4 men were able to check papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly. We can use this information to find the total work done by the 4 men: 4 * 8 * 5 = 160 units of work Now, we need to find out how long it would take 2 men to check double the number of papers in 20 days. Let's call the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days "x". Double this amount is 2x. Therefore, we need to find the number of hours it would take 2 men to check 2x papers in 20 days. Using the formula, we can set up the equation: 2 * 20 * h = 2x where "h" is the number of hours it takes 2 men to check 2x papers in 20 days. We can simplify this equation by dividing both sides by 2: 20 * h = x Now, we need to find the value of "h". We can use the total work done by the 4 men to find the value of "x". Since we know that the 4 men checked x papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly, we can set up the equation: 4 * 8 * 5 = x Simplifying this equation, we get: x = 160 units of work Now, we can substitute this value of "x" into the equation we derived earlier: 20 * h = 160 Solving for "h", we get: h = 8 Therefore, it would take 2 men working for 20 days, 8 hours per day to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days working 5 hours regularly. In conclusion, we can solve this problem using formula No. of men * No. of days * No. of hours = Total Work. By setting up equations using this formula and the given information, we can find the number of hours it would take 2 men to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in a certain amount of time. In this case, we found that it would take 2 men working for 20 days, 8 hours per day to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days working 5 hours regularly.@@sarangmore9860
you can also do this in the following way as as we know the total work done is 1 then one day productivity of both a and b is :- 1/45 + 1/40 so the value is 17/360 and they did work for n days we know that b does the remaining work in 23 days and the productivity is 23x1/40 so next we want to know the remaning work that is done by both a and b so the simple formulae would be lets consider a and b did work for n days n x (17/360) + 23 x (1/40) = 1 17n/360 + 23/45 = 1 17n/360 = 1 - (23/40) 17n/360 = 17/40 so n will be 9 by this formulae
This problem can be solved using the formulae No. of men * No. of days * No. of hours = Total Work In the first part of the problem, we are given that 4 men were able to check papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly. We can use this information to find the total work done by the 4 men: 4 * 8 * 5 = 160 units of work Now, we need to find out how long it would take 2 men to check double the number of papers in 20 days. bro ideally we assume total work = 1 (A&B ka x days ka combine work) + ( 23 day ka B ka work) = 1 1 - ( 23 day ka B ka work) = (A&B ka combine work) so here mam has written 1 - ( 23/40) = (A&B ka combine work)
Hey Mate, its simple just think of A,B,C as variables representing the fractions, for calculating A + B + C , we add [(A+B)(B+C)(C+A)]=2A+2B+2C or 2(A+B+C), the corresponding fraction part would be done or right hand side of equal to, Now we got 2(A+B+C), so we take the 2 to the right and divide the fraction by 2, Hence we got the solution for A+B+C! @@CosmoBotics here the output is same so the formula is something like this, 2*(N1*D1*H1) = N2*D2*H2
@@hi-tk4hucan you elaborate more ?
This problem can be solved using the formulae
No. of men * No. of days * No. of hours = Total Work
In the first part of the problem, we are given that 4 men were able to check papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly. We can use this information to find the total work done by the 4 men:
4 * 8 * 5 = 160 units of work
Now, we need to find out how long it would take 2 men to check double the number of papers in 20 days. Let's call the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days "x". Double this amount is 2x. Therefore, we need to find the number of hours it would take 2 men to check 2x papers in 20 days.
Using the formula, we can set up the equation:
2 * 20 * h = 2x
where "h" is the number of hours it takes 2 men to check 2x papers in 20 days.
We can simplify this equation by dividing both sides by 2:
20 * h = x
Now, we need to find the value of "h". We can use the total work done by the 4 men to find the value of "x". Since we know that the 4 men checked x papers in 8 days working 5 hours regularly, we can set up the equation:
4 * 8 * 5 = x
Simplifying this equation, we get:
x = 160 units of work
Now, we can substitute this value of "x" into the equation we derived earlier:
20 * h = 160
Solving for "h", we get:
h = 8
Therefore, it would take 2 men working for 20 days, 8 hours per day to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days working 5 hours regularly.

Can you explain the calculations we are no pro in math 😢😢
but mam in time and work 2nd last question me 17/40 kaise hoga ni smjh ayya
Thank you so much mam wonderful explanation
In question 4 can u explain this part 1-23/40 why b’s work is subtracted from 1 to get a and b’s together work
you can also do this in the following way as
as we know the total work done is 1 then
one day productivity of both a and b is :- 1/45 + 1/40 so the value is 17/360 and they did work for n days
we know that b does the remaining work in 23 days and the productivity is 23x1/40
so next we want to know the remaning work that is done by both a and b
so the simple formulae would be
lets consider a and b did work for n days
n x (17/360) + 23 x (1/40) = 1
17n/360 + 23/45 = 1
17n/360 = 1 - (23/40)
17n/360 = 17/40
so n will be 9 by this formulae

1men 1hr '2x' papers 320days
2men 1hr '2x' papers 160days
2men 8hr '2x' papers 20days
Simplifying this equation, we get:
x = 160 units of work
Now, we can substitute this value of "x" into the equation we derived earlier:
20 * h = 160
Solving for "h", we get:
h = 8
Therefore, it would take 2 men working for 20 days, 8 hours per day to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days working 5 hours regularly.
In conclusion, we can solve this problem using formula No. of men * No. of days * No. of hours = Total Work. By setting up equations using this formula and the given information, we can find the number of hours it would take 2 men to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in a certain amount of time. In this case, we found that it would take 2 men working for 20 days, 8 hours per day to check double the number of papers checked by 4 men in 8 days working 5 hours regularly.
