Hey, aquamigo. Those spillways are great however they are definitely designed to be pump driven. I don't think they are going to work for a gravity set up. Good to see you working on the pond again... Cheers!! And happy 4th!!
Thanks Aquamigo! Yeah I was kind of wondering that since the inlet is only 1". I'll probably still give it a try once my filter is setup, but if it doesn't work out I'll just do something else. Happy 4th Aquamigo! Have a good one!
the spillway fountain looks like a great bit of kit .. look forward to seeing how you end up using it .. i think it would also benefit more not using it gravity fed cause the it needs enough water flowing so you dont get that split im guessing and needs to be perfectly level bud .. great video
Thank you! Yeah I was reading the specs and it says the spillway can only be at a max of 4 ft above the pump, so I was probably making the pump work too hard to get the perfect waterfall. I guess I'll have to test it out being gravity fed, if it doesn't work I guess I'll just go with my original idea of having a few pipe returns
Hey buddy, not sure the spillway will work if it is gravity fed. Might bring problems with not enough water getting out and the other vats to flow over. Might be wrong but my guts say I don't think it will.
Tobias, commenter "@74lgd" is exactly correct about about the spillway being pump driven. If your pump doesn't deliver or exceed design flow you will not get that highly defined sheet of water flow you might expect. With this being said, gravity feeding this spillway isn't going work well.
Ah ok that's what I was kind of worried about with the inlet being only 1". I suppose if the inlet was a bit bigger, like maybe 1.25" maybe then it would work
Bro you have grown SO MUCH!!! So happy for you man, it’s been a long time coming. I’ve seen you work hard for many years. Blessings ❤️🤝😌
Thanks so much man I appreciate it 🙌
First to Like, Aquamigo 😊. Cool gadget to add.
Awesome Aquamigo!! Thanks so much! 🙌
We just found your channel. I hope your still up and running

Hey Cedric! Thanks for the heads up! I guess I'll need to try it out again once I have the filters setup

How about a Bahki shower
Yeah I think those are great and really effective, but I'm not a huge fan of how they look
We need an update man! It has been too long.
There will be an update tomorrow! Sorry for the long wait!
Still haven't finished? Stop milking it, bro.
