I’m here to give the same feedback. This video just came up on my homepage but unfortunately, I won’t be able to watch this channel if the romaji isn’t removed because it is too distracting. I don’t know any learner who wants to see romaji since most of us learn hiragana very quickly. Furigana would be a lot more useful for kanji that we don’t recognise! If they want to include romaji, it should be a removable caption so we can turn it off.
I love these videos! I will say that the new subtitles make it a little bit harder for me to read cause my eyes are so slow haha but the tomatoes were so good!

Is it possible to remove the romaji at the bottom and substitute it with furigana for kanji?
