Great stuff Tim - you're definitely improving in matchplay - I find I train/practice really well technically but in matches my technique goes out the window! Is it just down to getting heaps of match practice that makes you better?
In my personal experiences, when my technique used to go out of the window during matches, it was because my technique wasn't really fixed yet. What I mean by that is my technique didn't come natural to me and I felt like during training I was forcing my technique to be better(focusing on my technique as I'm playing). I would say if you just do drills until the technique feels natural and fluid without being forced, that will be an improvement. Also, footwork could be an issue that is costing your technique, maybe try to improve your footwork because when u are out of position on shots, your technique will obviously be bad. Also, what Tim said is good too, do lots of practice matches and third ball attack drills you should be fine. Good luck on your TT journey!
allison is a rising star at our club😅she always cry when she lose😅
Very good win Tim. She had good serves but missed a lot of 3rd balls. Kudos 🎉
Thanks 👍

So many practice matches. Either it’s leagues at the local clubs. Or third ball and fifth ball attack drills. You got this.

Poor girl. What kind of forehand is she learning from her coach?
