I cried when Tom Jones sang. I am a 90s kid but I grew up listening to his songs because my parents love him so so much. Sometimes I tend to forget I actually know most of his songs by heart. He's a gem. ❤ Much love from the Philippines.
I also love his songs despite being born in the early 2000’s, mostly because of my grandma. Tom Jones was her celebrity crush, every time I tell her he’s not that bad looking, she said “You should’ve seen him in his youth.”

That duet of "Falling In Love" with Tom Jones really gets me in tears. It's not only a beautiful song,but the rendition with both men is incredible. The man that ended at 13:37 have strong vocals. Real talent.
It's more subtle, but I like it when the band recognizes a singer is killing it and really kicks in with the enthusiastic backing. If you listen close you can hear when they flip the switch from a professional and competent '8' to a full-on, digging the groove '10'.

And, I surmise, that came from nervousness and a lack of self confidence. I think if he keeps at it, he's going to go far. With his natural talent and range, once he learns to relax, have confidence in himself, and open up, his voice will be glorious.

I actually love his version of Let Me Down better than the original singer. I think he sounded great, but probably the judges were looking for a wow moment, which the song doesn't really have. But I think he got a really nice low voice. Quite a sexy voice

In a way maybe some people would think that it's an honor to have that happen... especially if a judge sings with you, but it just seemed like they were singing as they would with the radio and not actually Listening to him after the beginning. I felt bad for him that they didn't turn AND that they didn't pay more attention. IMO if you're a judge and you love the song and think they are doing a pretty good job and you want to sing along and you have a mic and people will hear you (maybe more than the the person doing the audition) then turn your chair and respect them at least. (Yes I know he got to sing with a judge later, but it's not the same as them turning their chairs.)

That‘s because he sings every song as he has lived the story. No singer with more emotion. He is like an excellent wine, the older the better! I listen To him for 50 years now.
My favourite moments here are when the judges came up to these young singers and give them some pointers on how to structure their performance when no one turned for them. Heartwarming.
I just love how Tom’s fellow judges are enamored and enjoying his magnificent talent, but when the band kicks in, well, that’s the icing on the cake! I’ve seen this video countless times and it still stirs up my heart.🌟🥰

That #2 guy wasn't even singing the same song as Tom, not even the same language. He had a voice, he was a guy singing a song, but he was completely outmatched and outclassed by Tom. Everyone liked that guys first song, but when he tried to sing with Tom, sorry, game over.

My mama passed away last year in November. But hearing Karma Chameleon brought a smile to my face. That was the only song of the Culture Club she would listen to. My mama was straight country most of the time but there was something about that song and video she liked.

This was such a toure de force. My old hero Tom from the 60's and the son of a larakin Lonnie Donegan who we all enjoyed. The whole performance was !!!!!!! The mother was obviously an ordinary lady who has had not much financial benefit from those early years. My mama passed away last year in November. But hearing Karma Chameleon brought a smile to my face. That was the only song of the Culture Club she would listen to. My mama was straight country most of the time but there was something about that song and video she liked.
Y'all youngsters need to see all of Sir Tom's work. I grew up with his soulful tunes wafting through the house!!! Mom and Dad preferred to play his records instead of letting us five kids watch him shimmy and shake his way across every stage he ever graced!!! Thanks Tom for the memories. And you still GOT IT!!!

I loved Sir Tom, Boy George especially when he realises it’s his own song lol and the last one with Guy Sebastian. It’s the song that helped Guy win a singing contest 20yrs ago. So it put tears in my eyes.

This was such a toure de force. My old hero Tom from the 60's and the son of a larakin Lonnie Donegan who we all enjoyed. The whole performance was !!!!!!! The mother was obviously an ordinary lady who has had not much financial benefit from those early years. Oh Crap! - that duet of Dragostea Din Tei (the Numa Numa song) with Kateryna Biehu and Dan Balan (who wrote the song) was magical .. The only thing I could think of like it was Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg - "Je T'aime" - which probably tripled the French population after it came out because it was so sexy. Wow. I just wish they'd sung the whole song like that
