    Join us in person for a Sunday service at 9:30amET at Grace Community Church located at Grace Farms (365 Lukes Wood Road New Canaan CT, 06840).
    The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

    Cliffe, I am a former athiest who was saved 4 weeks ago. The first 27 years of my life I was a confused young man. In Nov. last year, my heart was cracked open and filled with Love from the Lord Jesus and I wept after feeling like I had hugged for the first time in my life. I denied this experience for months until 4 weeks ago I was watching one of your talks (why? I didn't believe) and the way you described God limiting a portion of his power to put His Son, Jesus, into a human body made everything click. At that moment I was saved and became a devout, born again believer and my life has changed drastically. The Lord was so patient with me and He knew I needed your speaking skills bestowed upon you by the Holy Spirit to let what I was starting to believe become undeniable. I truly believe God has given you this purpose. Thank you so much Cliffe and the Holy Spirit for giving me the words I needed to hear in order to recognize the transformative experience I had last Novermber. I love Jesus and I love you.

    Hey, folks. I am the guy in this video! It was such a blessing to see Cliffe, Stuart, and the "Give Me An Answer" team at Ole Miss this week! I couldn't begin to tell you how much I saw God working in the hearts of students on campus this week. I didn't realize how many students here really struggled with their issues of faith or had lingering questions like this circulating in the backs of their minds. I loved getting to watch the team teach and love and respond to the desparate need for Christ in our world this week.
    It was such a privilege to have this intervierw with Cliffe. I have always been a big supporter that science is God's way of showing us how he works and what he has done for us. God and science are NOT separate philosophical ideas, but simply the natural flow of Creator showing off his beautiful creation. Christ moves through the waters of science and I find rest in him in those places. This conversation truly was a blessing and I hope to see Cliffe, Stuart, and the team in the future! God bless all of you and thank you for the encouraging comments and the prayers. I hope that all of the fellow believings scientists out there know that they are not alone and that what they do matters. Christ wants to grow close to all of his brothers and sisters of the faith, especially through science.
    Grace and Peace,
    Zach Palmer

      You'll be alright. I don't know if his name is spelled Zack or Zach but he's cool being a student with a chemistry education. Cliffe and Stuart Knechtle are exactly right forgiveness isn't easy but can only be given freely through Grace. I've been watching Cliffe Knechtle's videos since 2021 but this is awesome 😎. Happy Pentecost/Resurrection weekend everyone He's alive forevermore AMEN 🙏 ❤️ 👏.This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
      I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
      Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
      Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
      ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
      Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I don't mean this is any condescending manner but if you'd like to discuss The Scriptures with me or have me listen to your view on anything my instagram account is Savage Christian Kombatant

    It was odd listening to Zac talk about the "amazing power of hurricanes" as evidence for God, when you consider the amazing devastation and destruction hurricanes bring to towns and cities, why would God create such things as hurricanes? From a naturalistic point of view, meteorologists know exactly how and why hurricanes exist. They are part of the natural world we live in.

    • @CZPalmer
      @CZPalmer 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is true. I did mention that hurricanes are amazing displays of God's power. I went on to further clarify that hurricanes contain massive amounts of energy owing to the power God. Of course, though, they are a natural part of the world that we live in that have an explanation to them! That was certainly my point of this conversation. Perhaps another example could be the massive storm that is known as the "Great Red Spot" on Jupiter. We know what scientific processes dictate its existence, but the point I am making is that God created the laws of the universe that see around us and through his blessing to us we are knowledgeable of these laws of nature and of the laws of science. This does not ditract from God's existence, but rather allows us to draw closer to him as a form of worship. To pay homage to his immense power.

    • @bonnie43uk
      @bonnie43uk 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CZPalmer Certainly from your Christian viewpoint Zack, you could say that hurricanes and earthquakes are proof of Gods amazing power. I think though, if you happened to be living in the path of a mighty hurricane that totally wiped out your town, levelling it to the ground, and killing your family and leaving you in hospital with severe injuries, i don't think you're going to be thinking "God, that was awesome proof of your power", or last year a massive earthquake destroyed a big town in Syria, killing thousands of people, ask yourself why God would allow that? From my atheist viewpoint, I know exactly how and why earthquakes occur, it has nothing to do with God as best as I can see.

    To address that "why?" part, I can see some individuals try to claim that we don't need philosophy or that the wisdom of history is just foolishness now. Something along those lines.
    To counter that, I'd ask if we're not creatures that are oriented towards goals or other things that we aim at? If we are such creatures, do we not need to be able to discern what are the best options to get towards those goals or things that we aim at? Do we not need to ask questions and think in order to better increase our chances? And if we're not, then are we just molecules in motion that are under some delusion?

    That gravity constant is an interesting topic, because yes you could live on a planet that had the gravity of say the moon, but our bones would be so much weaker in such conditions that we could't really do anything. This is because of Wolf's priciple, which basicly states that bone is built up in areas that are under stress, or where it is most needed. The process is impact driven, so on earth we build our bones to withstand great longitudinal forces in our legs due to the fact that most forces going through those bones are longitudinal. However, they aren't too great at withstanding transverse forces and break relatively easy. With less gravity our bones probably could't stand the forces placed on them by life in general, and with more gravity we would be crushed. Remember reading somewhere that it was around 10.7 where life wouldn't be possible anymore, vs. the current 9.81.

    • @CZPalmer
      @CZPalmer 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It really is an interesting topic. I think the point I was trying to make is that I am SURE sometime down the line we will be able to artificially set gravity within buildings on the moon, for example. However, you are correct that in different types of gravitational environments we would be hard-pressed to survive. Kinda neat that solar systems can even have a "sweet spot" zone where planets can be formed that have gravity pull force of 9.8 m/s^2

    As a believer, I very much enjoy your Q&A sessions.
    As a believer, I do try to find deeper meaning.
    The Quran for example in explaining the 6 days of creation. Resting is an easy one. To rest can also be to cease work.
    The Trinity is a difficult human concept to grasp.
    Even Arabic of the Quran says "we' created . A term of respect to their culture in reference to Allah.
    Jesus is asked how we should pray, he instructs us to pray to the father.
    Jesus also asked his father way he has forsaken him while on the cross in anguish.
    It did seem seem Jesus had limited powers, He could not resurrect John after his beheading.
    The one example that makes me feel perhaps God was with his son and Jesus was not God is when Satan tempted Jesus and offered him Material world kingdoms and lands on earth.
    If God was in the Flesh, Satan would have known he had nothing to offer his creator that already controlled all creation.
    Satan's powers and the fallen angels have limited authority on earth with God's permission, like what was done with Job.
    Quantum Entanglement does however show one scientific possibility in how GOD/ALLAH/ YHWH can be anywhere in the Universe but with us and in us at all times to listen to us and to speak wirh us . Perhaps we should pause to rethink in how that Trinity can be possible and how the 'we" term of respect for Allah may have originated.

      I'm no Greek translator, but I looked at the verse with the Abott-Smith Greek lexicon, and the word used for science/knowledge is gnōsis, and it says that it can be used to describe a sort of spiritual knowledge. In the context of the passage, Paul might be saying to beware of those who claim to have spiritual truths but are really decieved/deceivers.
      Again, I could be wrong since I don't know Greek, but I hope this helps.

    • @cortisoldetox
      @cortisoldetox 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      In 1 Timothy 6:20, when Paul refers to "the falsely named science," he is cautioning Timothy against a particular type of knowledge or learning that deviates from the truth of the Gospel. In the context of Paul's letter, he is addressing various false teachings and doctrines that were circulating within the early Christian community. The term "science" in this verse likely refers to a form of speculative knowledge or philosophy that claimed to offer insight into the mysteries of existence but ultimately led people away from the truth of God's revelation. It's important to note that Paul is not referring to modern-day science, such as the study of physics or chemistry, but rather to a type of pseudo-intellectualism or false wisdom that detracts from the central message of Christianity. Therefore, Paul's admonition serves as a reminder to prioritize the truth of God's Word above all other forms of knowledge and to guard against teachings that may lead believers astray from the faith.

      You're right. His full quote was "Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. Spontaneous creation is the reason there is something rather than nothing, why the universe exists, why we exist. It is not necessary to invoke God to light the blue touch paper and set the universe going."
      My argument still stands, though. It is simply proposterous to assume these things that ARE constant were not created with such fine tuning in mind by and intelligent designer. It simply makes no sense. Stephen Hawking went on to say that his faith was first shaken when a planet was found orbiting a star that wasn't ours. He said, "That makes the coincidences of our planetary conditions -- the single sun, the lucky combination of Earth-Sun distance and solar mass -- far less remarkable, and far less compelling as evidence that the Earth was carefully designed just to please us human beings." Again, this is even MORE evidence of the power and might of God. It is NOT far less remarkable to myself.. it is even more remarkable to know that God set in motion all things for our solar system to work the way it does AND He did it millions upon billions of time over. God is good. God is powerful. God -is-.

    I believe science is God’s fingerprint. He knew we would be where we are today in our scientific reasoning. Taking God out of science is a crime, because science proves His glory! The laws that govern this universe are unimaginable and I believe it’s just the tip of the iceberg in terms of our understanding of its complexity. Order does not come from disorder, and what we see now is disorder coming from order, which implies a creator for the creation and the downfall of our sinful nature. God is so good.
    Romans 1:20 “For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse.”
